ALL ABOUT EYES SERUM - CLINIQUE - REVIEW

It refreshes, revitalises, de-puffs and acts as slices of the cucumbers you would place on your eye bags/dark circles during a pamper sesh.

I am a big fan of Clinique and always looking for products which improves my appearance for the long term. The All About Eyes Serum is an ideal product for those looking to enhance the eye area baggage in other words, it de-puffs the eye area by subtly massaging it with its cool roll-on ball. I have used the product for more than six months, and already I am seeing the permanent results. My eye area looks less tired and there are less eye bags and dark circles after using the product. You can't avoid eye bags and dark circles forever because they come naturally with age and so...thanks to eye care products, they're designed to eliminate the unwanted baggage so the dark circles will be reduces, giving less appearance of them.

WHAT IS IT:
  • A cool roll-on product designed to de-puff eye bags, dark circles, promote more blood circulation around the eye area.
  • Really cool refreshing feeling on the eyes....great to put on at night and mornings.
DOES IT WORK:
  • Slightly de-puffs the eye, you won't see immediate results straight away, but by using this product gradually you will be able to see the difference.
WHERE CAN I PURCHASE:

THE BEAUTY USES OF ALOE VERA

Aloe Vera can be found in your backyard and it's amazing on what the plant can do for many topical uses. The fact that it's natural makes a chemical-free product which can be gentle for skin. There's as much as 75 nutrients in Aloe vera, 20 minerals, 12 vitamins, 18 amino acids and 200 active enzymes....imagine all that goodness in just one leaf.

The many beauty uses include:
  • Acts as a body scrub whilst in the shower, also great for pampering and soothing of the skin.
  • Soothes sunburns and eases the pain and sting from burns. Aloe vera contains amazing properties which assists with pain similar to 'menthol'.
  • Acts as a fast absorbing moisturiser...so it's great to moisturise the skin.
  • Assists with brightening the skin by reducing skin pigmentation, dark spots, freckles.
  • Removes eye make-up as an alternative, just be sure to avoid the eye area as it may be extra sensitive.
  • Great to reduce acne scarring gradually over time if applied regularly onto affected areas of scarring.
  • When in juice form, aloe vera drink assists with indigestion and gastroenteritis.  It also boosts metabolism and assists the body to burn more calories fast.

REVIEW: SUPERSTAY BETTER SKIN, MAYBELLINE RANGE

Hi beauties,

Maybelline has produced another brand extension to the Superstay and this time it's called the Better Skin "Energising Vitamin Formula, Flawless Finish Foundation"

So there would be days where my face would be dry, sensitive and blotchy and by using this new foundation range, I found that it somewhat improves the skin by making it smooth and soft.

My foundation came with SPF14+ so with the minimal sun protection added, it's better than nothing!  I felt that it was hydrating as it comes with Actyl C and also gives a flawless coverage. When applied for a few hours, I felt that I needed to reapply the foundation as a touch up and to ultimately protect my skin from the sun.

It's great for day wear and also a make up base because the contents of the hydrating foundation gives you a more radiant look.

I always look for cosmetics which gives the user benefits through using the product and this foundation fixes discolouration and brightens the dull elements of your face. This product comes in six shades so it's worth testing out in store what would you most suit. I got the colour in 032 Golden which suits skin with more yellow undertone and sensitive skin.

BB CREAM SPF 25 - RIMMEL LONDON IN MEDIUM

The BB Cream SPF 25 by Rimmel is an ideal drugstore makeup base for those simply wanting to enjoy a good base and also wanting sun protection for your skin.

I enjoyed reviewing this product as it's a simple product available at your local chemist/drugstore where you can simply use as a quick alternative which also ensures you get the needed sun protection.

I tried the Medium tone and felt good using it as it was not oily, no strong fragrance and made my skin feel smooth.

  • Perfect for base make up
  • Good coverage
  • No issues of breakouts
  • Good consistency of liquid (Smell not too over-powering)
CONS
  • Will require re-application after a few hours for ultimate protection
