CLEAN & CLEAR - SKINCARE ESSENTIALS FEATURING ACNE SPOT GEL TREATMENT, THE ESSENTIALS MOISTURISER & THE OIL CONTROL TONER REVIEW !

HELLO BEAUTIES!

When it comes to the wintry season, all I worry about is how my skin will look and feel. I occasionally get pimples due having oily skin or simply not eating the right foods. Thankfully, there are products out there which can even reduce pimple symptoms from 4 hours. Every time I get acne, I always look to Clean and Clear skin products because they have certain products which all aid acne problems. I have been using the Clean and Clear brand for a long time and it's definitely a brand that I can really trust.

For this special Clean and Clear post, I'll be covering the following products:
  • Clean & Clear - Essentials Oil-control toner.
  • Clean & Clear - Essentials Moisturiser SPF15
  • Clean & Clear - Advantage Fast clearing spot gel.

So if you're curious to see whether these products have worked for me, stay put because this is going to be an exciting and informative post!

Clean & Clear - Essentials Oil-control toner

The Clean and Clear Essentials oil-control toner is made to really work deep down into your skin to prevent any skin problems from surfacing. What you'll notice from using this toner is that it will simply leave your skin feeling super clean. If you happen to have oily skin, this is the ideal product if you are looking for a specific toner.

It does not dry out the skin nor does it irritate it. I found no redness on my skin after using this toner and it just felt simply clean. You can also remove excess make-up that is still on your face which makes it a very useful for if you really wanted to make sure you've removed ALL of your make-up. It comes in a small 100ml bottle with a flip top lid. This makes it so convenient for if you needed to travel, it won't take up that much room in your luggage as well. When it comes to the usage of the product, a little goes a long way because you don't that much product when you soak it up with a cotton ball.

I would normally use this toner after cleansing my face really well. Next, I would squirt a small amount onto a cotton ball where I would normally then apply this all over my face and neck. The after feeling is amazing and my skin felt really refreshed, cleaned and my pores looked tightened. It's a great product for it is oil free which means that it won't clog your pores. This is definitely a plus factor for me because I know that my skin will be super cleansed. If you decide to use this toner, make sure you focus on the oily parts of your skin because you want to really tone these areas and balance the skin. The fragrance of the toner is quite fruity and pleasant. I am glad there is some nice element to using the product.

With greater use of this toner, you'll realise that you won't get much acne, blackheads and oily skin because it really works to counteract these from surfacing on your skin.

Overall, it's a great product where you can find almost anywhere such as your local chemist or supermarket. Definitely a 5/5 stars for me!

Clean & Clear - Essentials Moisturiser SPF15

I also tried out Clean and Clear's Essentials Moisturiser with a SPF15 to it. One great aspect of this moisturiser is that it works to moisturise skin whilst also preventing any skin problems - this could be acne problems that you might face or so. This product is an oil-free formula which means that it won't clog your pores. It simply works deep down to clear out your pores to prevent further breakouts.

I found this moisturiser to be of a non-sticky texture and it didn't feel greasy at all. The salicylic acid is what helps to keep pores clear and prevent your skin from breaking out. I don't think there is a similar product that I have tried that is as equally as good as this moisturiser and has the same properties. What makes this product easy to use is that it dries very quickly and when it is applied onto skin, it just feels soft and smooth. It does not even feel thick when on skin so this makes it a really good type of moisturiser for those who are and aren't suffering from further breakouts.

The bottle comes in a 100ml, same as the Essentials oil-control toner. When using the cream, a little always goes a long way and I see myself not even finishing this bottle within months. You would only need to use a small amount in the morning. Ideally, this product is most suited to those with oily skin and suffering from acne. It helps to prevent further skin problems whilst also having the extra added sunscreen protection which aids in UV protection. If your skin is not protected with SPF, then the sun can severely damage your skin over time which lead to ageing.

After using this moisturiser every morning, after cleansing and putting on my serums - I felt that my face was more clear and more hydrated. I am glad for a supermarket product, this moisturiser is able to keep my skin hydrated and also protect it from the sun. This is a must buy product and if you haven't picked up yours at your local supermarket, then look to do so guys! It's amazing and definitely a full 5/5 stars for me!

POSITIVES:
  • Oil free where it won't clog your pores.
  • Moisturises your skin while also preventing skin problems from occurring.
  • There's also SPF15 which is an added sunscreen protection for your skin.
  • Absorbs so quick.
  • Non-greasiness formula.
  • Not thick at all.
  • Leaves your skin fully protected, clean and clear.

NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!

BEAUTY TIPS:
  • Apply this in an upward motion.
  • Apply this every morning, daily.
  • Ideal for those with oily to normal combination skin type.

Clean & Clear - Advantage Fast clearing spot gel.

Imagine you were ready to go out in a few hours and the worse has simply happened. You've got a fat, juicy pimple staring right at you. No, the pimple is staring at you. Wait. Why are you even having a staring contest with a pimple?! Have no fear! Clean and Clear to the rescue! Featuring their Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel among their skincare/acne range.

It's made to reduce any pimple symptoms from 4 hours of using it on the pimple prone areas. What makes it so unique for an acne spot treatment is that it's really fast acting in a micro-gel form and it's said to clear acne from just 4 hours! The product includes their breakthrough salicylic acid and also active botanical pore cleansing formula which when used during the morning and night - it works to fight any surfacing pimples on your skin. It can help to reduce the size of it and will not cause any dryness to your skin.

After using the spot gel on one of the random pimples which surfaced onto my chin area from nowhere, I could see it being visibly reduced in appearance and size. The fast cleaning spot gel works to dry out the pimple and kill the bacteria underneath where this will also aid in reducing any redness around the pimple prone area. My pimple was swelling for days, and after two days from when I last used the spot treatment, the pimple reduced in size and became a scab mark and simply flaky. Wow! I wasn't going to expect much difference from using it but it seriously has improved my complexion and it has looked better ever since. No sightings of pimple boils since and with continued use, I am expecting more clear skin for me.

The product is presented in a 10ml small plastic tube with a purple screw lid at the top. To get the product, you simply have to squeeze out the product onto your finger. The gel is in a transparent form where it smells like alcohol but this comes from the salicylic acid formula.

This is definitely a handy product for any sightings of pimples. You can always have this in your bag for emergency purposes and it's truly a miracle product for those who do suffer from acne. It helps to reduce swell, redness and the size of the pimple. Overall I am happy about my experiences with using this product and is a perfect 5/5 stars for me!

POSITIVES:
  • Oil free where it won't clog your pores.
  • Has a fast clearing salicylic acid formula.
  • Reduces pimple symptoms four hours after using.

NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!

BEAUTY TIPS:
  • Carry this around in your purse or bag for emergency purposes!
