HAIRCARE SPECIAL: HOW TO KEEP YOUR ENDS LOOKING NOURISHED AND SMOOTH USING JOHN FRIEDA FULL REPAIR OIL ELIXIR + DEEP CONDITIONER REVIEW !

HELLO BEAUTIES, WELCOME BACK!

If you have been following my blog, I reviewed John Frieda's Precision Foam colour a few weeks back where the colour has left my hair looking naturally amazing. I am so happy with it now. (See picture below taken while I was in Hong Kong of my new hair colour.)

CHEESE ;)

Flick through time now and I've been using the blow-hair dryer and straightener at least ONCE a week. You can really figure out where this post is going...that's right HAIR CARE PRODUCTS. I need to stress how important it is to maintain your lovely locks and keep them in tip top condition. Now since I have been using the John Frieda range quite frequently for my main hair products, I stumbled across an amazing hair care product that truly deserves FIVE stars for its brilliance and benefits it has given my hair. Over time, I found my hair feeling dry, brittle and my gosh, split ends were coming from excessive hair breakage. Now there's heaps of factors to why this may occurs, this could be due to having extra dry hair, hair care tools such as the heated styling tools or it could be your diet as well. (So make sure to eat your vegetables and proteins guys!)

I am so excited to review for you guys two products I felt helped my hair to restore back its moisture and enhance its softness and shine. They are:

  • John Frieda, Hydrate and rescue - Deep Conditioner
  • John Frieda, Repairing Oil Elixir

So kick your feet up, sit back and enjoy your daily boost of beauty news x

JOHN FRIEDA FULL REPAIR REPAIRING OIL ELIXIR

Having super straight hair, I am constantly looking to style my hair for a bit of variety in my life. I don't necessarily like the same look, so I am always adding some curls or waves to my hair style for extra added volume. There are days where my hair would be extra dry and the days where it would be calm and neutral, no flyaways. Everyday is unpredictable.

So, essentially the main user of this Repairing Oil Elixir by John Frieda would be for those with dry and or damaged hair. It's a much needed essential for your bathroom and if you're need to shop for a good type of oil and willing to experiment, I recommend this amazing repairing oil elixir by John Frieda. It's seriously amazing stuff for your hair where I swear you won't have any complaints. I don't have anything yet to flaw about this product because this has simply worked for me. My hair was getting dry and brittle at the ends... my split ends were showing and I was constantly picking at my split ends! (Learning on how to break my habit though..resolution = prevent those split ends from developing on your ends.)

I will start off with the product itself, the oil elixir. John Frieda Full Repairing Oil Elixir is a very lightweight type of oil where it's not heavy or does not make your hair look damp or oily looking. What it does is that it looks to give your hair the fullest protection against hair damage namely hair breakage from the uses of heat styling tools. The oil has been formulated with inca inchi oil which is supposedly to be high and rich in omega 3 which is so nourishing and healthy for your hair to take in. This is the ingredient that helps your hair to look more stronger, let it shine and make it feel amazingly smooth. It's definitely jam packed with rare ingredients that you wouldn't find in other types of hair oils.

When using the oil, make sure to use only one pump from the bottle. A little sure does goes a long way for this bottle of 88ml. It may look minimal at first for its size but really, this bottle can last you for month (taking note that you don't crazy with it!) I would use one pump and then run it through the ends of my hair after washing it. Next, I would look to dry my hair with a hair-dryer until it is fully dried. After doing this I noticed my hair feeling so much smoother and just refreshed. It felt as if I have just walked out of the hair salon with my hair done. My hair did not feel weighed down by the oil so this was a plus for me when using the oil elixir. You can also use this when your hair is dry or wet.

After using the product, my hair felt instantly smooth and the ends definitely looked healthier, considering that I have only used this for a few days. I can see more of a visible difference which is an improvement as compared to not using the oil on my ends at all. It is top oil elixir that I definitely recommend for those with dry and damaged hair.

POSITIVES:
  • Makes hair feel smoother, shinier and stronger.
  • Lightweight.
  • Absorbs easily when used on damp hair and then blow dried thoroughly.
  • Suitable for all hair types.
  • Mainly for those with dry and damaged hair.
  • Fix those split ends now!
  • With Inca Inchi oil rich in omega 3.
NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!
BEAUTY TIPS:
  • I would run about one pump of the oil elixir onto my hands and then massage this onto the ends of my hair.

NEW JOHN FRIEDA - FULL REPAIR - HYDRATE AND RESCUE DEEP CONDITIONER

So I also stumbled across a deep conditioner that would look to make my hair feel very moisturised, smooth and soft. Of course, I wanted my hair to smell amazing which is what this conditioner delivered. John Frieda Full Repair Hydrate and Rescue Deep Conditioner infuses hair with moisture which is what gives your hair an improved look i.e. makes it look and feel super soft and shiny.

First thing I discovered about the consistency of the conditioner is that it was really lightweight and not thick. Usually there are conditioners out there that leave your hair feeling so greasy but not with this conditioner. It actually contains inca inchi oil - again rich in omega 3 and is so essential for if you wanted to hydrated your dry and damaged hair. This conditioner truly looks to replenish and restore any dryness and give you more of a shine and smoothness back to your hair.

To use this product, I basically left this in my hair for a good 3 minutes in the shower and then rinsed off with lukewarm water. After drying my hair normally, then using the repairing oil elixir by John Frieda, I would then look to dry my hair with a blow-dry. The results was that my ends felt super soft and my hair just felt so smooth. I am truly amazed by the combination of the deep conditioner and the repairing oil elixir. Together they complement each other and both assist hair in looking more soft and restored.

If you have dry and damaged hair, be sure to check out both of these products because they're worth investing into!
