I am back after a long week break in Hong Kong. Now that I am fully recovered from the jet lag, it's back to make-up talk!
So I discovered that Rimmel London had released yet another pretty line of lip glosses, this time their colours are beautifully pigmented and the neutral, baby-pink like shades are just elegant looking, my type of colour!  So what really is trending in the beauty world is the "OH MY GLOSS!" lip gloss range by Rimmel London.

They are available in 8 different shades so have fun when selecting your colours because if you're into your reds and pinks, you'll love this month's new colours. The colours I have tested out include:
  • Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss - 150 Glossaholic
  • Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss - 190 Pin Up
  • Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss - 100 Love Bug
  • Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss - 520 Rebel Red
Are the names cute or what? It sure does match the colour of the lip gloss and I definitely had so much fun swatching these out. If you haven't checked out their latest spokesperson, it's actually Rita Ora. She's a fun, edgy and girly type of  person and for her to represent Rimmel London really draws me more into their product range because I admire her songs! The tones are inspired by the festival season where the colours of outfits are super bright and hand accessories are super cute looking. Combine all these elements voila! you get OH MY GLOSS!

I found the lip gloss range to provide a really sheer look to my lips and it provided it with a decent amount of colour to my lips. What I noticed about the scent of these new lip glosses is that it smelt of delicious sweet vanilla. (Very addictive on lips too!) The applicator brush is very precise and normal like their other range. It's easy to trace along the edge of your lips using the tip of the applicator so this was very useful. The foam on the lip applicator glides more easily along lips by coating the lips with an adequate amount of gloss.
I love how the packaging of the lip gloss isn't fully rectangle 3D, but instead it's a triangle-fun design type of lipstick making grip feeling much easier. The lip gloss feels quite luxurious when on lips, the quality lasts longer without much contact to water or sipping from the glass. It's ideal by just popping in a few of these lip glosses in your handbag to jazz up your touch-ups.

Now for the benefits of using this amazing new OH MY GLOSS! You shall find that it lasts up to 6 hours of the colour and that it doesn't quickly fade away. (Finally found a lip gloss that stays intact while on my lips!) Also the finish is quite shiny and glossy which is beautifully looking. It's not sticky or anything and the moisture of these are superb when on lips. My lips did not feel dry but instead more hydrated thanks to this lip gloss.
There is also Argan oil and Vitamin E contained in the lip gloss which explains the super moisturisation feel to my lips after applying this lip gloss on.

I am so glad that these lip glosses don't feel heavy and are very lightweight when on lips. It makes it very comfortable and convenient wear during the day and also throughout the evening. Overall I'd give this product a full 5/5 stars!

Swatching the amazing colours....

Top to bottom: Rebel Red, Pin Up, Glossaholic and Love Bug (neutral looking one)

What's your favourite colour?

Featuring Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss! 150 Glossaholic

This is more of a light baby pink colour to your lips. If you like baby pink, you'll love this one because it's sweet and cute to wear. It's also more on the neutral side but has more of a light pink tinge to it. It's very innocent looking and definitely a favourite to wear.
At first I thought this would be more peachy-toned but it has a light sheer formula making it pleasant to wear on the lips.

Featuring Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss! 100 Love Bug

How cute is the name...Love Bug! It has more sparkles in this lip gloss tube but doesn't look too glittery on the lips so don't fear the colour! It's very subtle and soft looking when applied onto lips. The difference between the first one - Glossaholic and the Love Bug shade is that this has more of a shimmer to it, plus the gloss is very neutral and sheer looking. If you fancy a neutral and soft look to your lips, look to check and swatch this out to see if this suits you!

Featuring Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss! 190 Pin Up

Now we talking.. this is more of a vibrant type of colour to your lips. I would say this more electric hot pink but in sheer form. When you look at the tube, you'd think it's more on the hot pink shade, but don't worry it's not that bright when applied onto lips.
Thanks to the sheer and sleek formula of the lip gloss, the colour goes on well and gives more of a pop to it. I personally love wearing lip glosses on my lips because I love it when my lips look more plump and shiny. (It just makes me happy!)

Featuring Rimmel London's Oh My Gloss! 520 Rebel Red

If you're into your reds and want a lip gloss that can deliver more of a sheer look to your lips, check out the Rebel Red 520. It has a hint of shimmer to its gloss and brings out more red to your lips. I would wear this at a dress-up event like to a dinner event or so. It's more elegant looking and if you want to look sophisticated, pop this onto your lips with a comfortable dress. The result, sexy looking and glossy lips. Love!
