If you haven't heard of the brand Antipodes, you can check out their website here www.antipodesnature.com. They're originally based in New Zealand, Wellington. What I love about the brand is that nearly everything from packaging to product is gentle to use, materials are recyclable and nearly natural and organic. The recyclable box is actually made from 100% biodegradable cardboard from sustainable forests and printed using 100% vegetable INK! So there you go with how Antipodes have approached their product packaging - environmentally friendly.

So what does Antipodes have to show? I tried out their Worship, Super-fruit Antioxidant Serum with Boysenberry, blackcurrant, kiwifruit and Vinzana grape AND their Jubliation, Ultra Nourishing Hand and Body Cream which also includes super-fruit kiwi seed oil, feijoa and wild blackcurrant. Sounds all like yummy exotic fruits right? It's amazing how they're present within both of these products which is what has aid me to get better and healthier looking skin. ANTIPODES JUBILATION, ULTRA NOURISHING, HAND AND BODY CREAM

Antipodes says: "Anoint your body with a jubliant new cream"

This is a very deep nourishing and thick type of cream for your hands and body. It looks to really replenish your skin with a combination of their pure plant oils present in the 120ml tube.  It is also noted that there are essential Omegas 3, 6 and 9 combined in the cream which is essentially what makes your skin feel so much smoother and softer to touch. The cream absorbs so well when smeared onto the skin. You're actually getting the much needed Vitamins A, C and E which is what provides your skin with the much needed vitality boost.

Now for the scent of the cream. It's immersed with exotic feijoa and wild blackcurrant which is quite a pleasant and natural smell. It almost reminds me as if I am at the spa salon and getting a facial because the surroundings usually smell so revitalizing and relaxing. This is definitely the mood it placed me in when I used this cream onto my hands and a little on my arms and legs. When you use this cream as a daily ritual, it's perfect for relieving any dryness you may have. The cream totally absorbs onto the dry patch areas of your skin and you're left with beautiful, nourished skin.

Now for product packaging! It's presented in a 120ml tube which almost reminds me of toothpaste. You have to unscrew the cap and press the tube to release the cream out. I thought the packaging was quite elegant for a hand and body cream. It's also travel-handy such as for your purse. Should you be experiencing dry hands, you can simply reach into your bag for this awesome type of product by Antipodes. It is definitely recognizable by its metallic green colour and it's so pretty looking. I would say this cream falls under a luxurious hand cream category because the ingredients present in the cream are all exotic type of fruits which aim to give vitality and boost to skin. A little goes a long way when using the cream as you don't require much to apply on your hands or body.

Overall I loved how the hand cream was very moisturising and comfortable to wear. It did not feel greasy or sticky was which a great aspect. It absorbed so quickly which is why I am giving this a 5/5 stars. Pop this in your work drawer, dressing table or car because you never know when you'll need to moisturise your hands.

ANTIPODES WORSHIP, SUPERFRUIT ANTIOXIDANT SERUM

Antipodes says: "Fortify your skin from early ageing"

The Superfruit Antioxidant serum has been scientifically shown to inhibit oxidative stress in vitro by up to 90%. What's great about this serum is that you'll be pleased to know that 100% of the ingredients are from natural origin and 95% of the ingredients are from organic cultivation. Be sure to keep your skin looking more youthful this season and look to fortify your skin cells against early ageing and free radical damage with water based serum accenting the antioxidant of Vinanza Oxidend which features a New Zealand grown superfruit. Boysenberry, blackcurrant, kiwifruit and antioxidant Vinanza grape from grape seeds are all extracted with a technique using only pure water for natural bioactivity and no chemical residue. What's more is that it also includes a shot of coffee berry and acai where this gives your skin a much needed boost. This serum is suitable for all skin conditions.

How I essentially used this serum was basically dispensing the serum onto my fingertips and then gently rubbing it into my skin before I moisturised. The fact that this serum is water-based with very high concentration of plant-active ingredients, it was able to deliver greater results to the deeper layers of my skin. This is what's needed for the serum to sink into your skin and look to replenish it. The scent of the serum is pleasant and so nice to smell. It consists of a berry-like type of smell which is sweet and most of all, I did not mind it! The serum is also oil free which is great because it doesn't look to make your face greasy or sticky at all. Once you pat the serum onto your skin, you'll find that your skin will slightly tightened but don't be alarmed because this basically the natural ingredients working together. Just follow on with a good layer of moisturiser ontop. After doing this, my skin felt much more comfortable to feel and touch! The serum actually provides antioxidant protection for your skin against any UV rays and environmental damage which is the main cause of pre-mature ageing skin. After using the serum for a few weeks, my skin has felt more supple, hydrated and soft. You can tell that it's brighter in complexion which I really love.

POSITIVES:
  • With boysenberry, blackcurrant, kiwifruit and Vinanza grape.
  • Protection against free radical damage.
  • Fights signs of pre-mature ageing.
  • Water based.
  • Makes skin feel hydrated and supple.
NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch.
BEAUTY TIPS:
  • Use only a small amount, which is basically one drop.
WHERE TO PURCHASE:

Closer look at the scientific like dropper.

Just a quick swatch of the Worship Superfruit Antioxidant serum. You can see that the serum has entirely absorbed into my skin.

I completely used the serum all over my hand to test its smoothness and whether my skin showed signs of a boost. You can see in the image above that my hands look healthy and smooth.

So there you have it beauties!

Check out the Antipodes products as they're lots of fun!

Cheers,
Livia xo
