HAIRCARE REVIEW: FEAT. DRY SHAMPOO BY POLISHED LONDON IN BLIGHTY BRUNETTE REVIEW !

HI BEAUTIES!

Welcome BACK to my beauty page where I like to discuss what's new, what I tried out and simply made me go WOW this is really amazing I need to share this with you guys. When it comes to testing out the products, I always ensure that I look to see whether it has ticked all of the right boxes for me - whether it be from the product packaging itself to the benefits I am receiving from using the products.

When it comes to haircare, have you ever wanted to try out a type of product that would not require you to wash your hair? Say for example, you're in a rush to get to work and you simply don't have that time to pop into the shower and get your hair shampooed and conditioned. What do you do in this instance? Your hair is looking rather limp, oily, messy and dirty! For us girls and guys, sometimes we can throw it in a messy bun and get away with it. Yet...the smell of the dirty oils in your hair will still linger. The solution? Dry shampoo it is!

As someone who has really dark brown hair, I was so thrilled to try out the 'Blighty Brunette' form the Polished London Dry shampoo range. This product is specially made for dark and brunette coloured hair. When I first used this dry shampoo, I realised that it didn't leave a white residue which was ideal because why do you want white stuff showing on your hair.
The bottle of 150ml dry shampoo by Polished London in Blighty Brunette is mainly for those with dark hair. You will realise that when you spray onto your hair, that the product is of a soft brown colour but it will really look to blend in with dark and brown coloured hair.

For the scent of this dry shampoo, I would describe it as a can of hair spray scent. So it's more on the bold scent side. It smells clean and fresh so the smell was definitely bearable.

So how would you use dry shampoo? See my simple tips and steps below to help you out:
  • STEP 1: Shake the can well and then spray onto roots, at least 30cm away.
  • STEP 2: Allow the dry shampoo to absorb any excess oil you have on your hair, then look to massage this in.
  • STEP 3: Alternatively, if you don't want to spray directly onto the hair, you could also look to spray some of the dry shampoo onto your hairbrush, and then look to comb this throughout your hair.
  • STEP 4: Before spraying this product, make sure you've covered your nice clothes well with a protective towel, cape, etc..
  • STEP 5: VOILA...You are now finished!
For sure you won't see any white residue because the dry shampoo will come out in a dark coloured spray so this will easily blend into your hair. When massaging your hair, be sure to massage the areas thoroughly to ensure the product is evenly spread and absorbed entirely. Overall, I felt that my hair was cleaner and smelt fresh. I always like it how my hair comes out of the shower where it smells gorgeous. Well, this is somewhat similar to that concept, except the dry shampoo will last you until the end of the day. It's a very quick fix for your hair for if you're needing some TLC to it. It's a life saviour and everyone needs a can of Polished London in their handbag or drawer. It will save you from time and effort needed to wash your hair. I am not saying to just use dry shampoo as an option, always look to wash your hair afterwards to ensure that you remove all of the product build up. I tend to use dry shampoo when I am rushed for time in the mornings or afternoons. It's also great if you're heading out and have no time to wash your hair. Dry shampoo to the rescue!

Polished London in 'Blighty Brunette' has got to be the best and top brand of dry shampoos I have ever tested out. I am quite satisfied with the results because of how well the formula absorbs into my hair and makes it appear less oily. And at such an affordable price, why not invest into this type of dry shampoo where it's a super alternative to washing your hair during the day. I would truly recommend those to try it out if you haven't done so.
