I can't wait to show you how all THREE of these beauty tools have helped me to create a flawless and streak-free finish to my foundation routine. I am definitely impressed with the range and for a drugstore product, it's definitely within an affordable price range. Please check out my thoughts below to see why these blending tools worked for me.

FEATURING QVS FOUNDATION BRUSH (FOR COVERAGE AND BLENDING PURPOSES)

This is the perfect and ideal foundation brush for if you're wanting achieve an even blending and coverage with your foundation. It's designed for oil or water based make-up because the brush bristles are made to withhold water or oil based make-up such as foundation. (So be sure to check what type of foundation it is before you start to use this brush along with your foundation routine.)

The bristles of the brush are super soft, making it ideal for a perfect coverage for your foundation. The bristles are made out of fine nylon which allows for you to achieve a professional like finish to your overall look. It doesn't leave any streak marks behind which is essential for when you are looking to apply foundation on. It's always important to make sure that you're using the right beauty tools as this makes a huge difference to the application of your make-up. This brush really allowed for an easy application as the grip was very comfortable to hold and I was able to achieve a flawless finish to my foundation look. Not only can you use this foundation brush with foundation, but also with primer, concealer, BB cream, masks or tinted moisturiser - making this the perfect multi-purpose foundation type of brush to use. The brush really looks to hold its shape so it doesn't really go out of its shape when you look to clean the brush. I really love this concealer brush and it really is of high quality and looks like it will last long.

How to use the foundation brush:
  • It really depends on what kind of foundation you're using, you can either look to apply the foundation directly to the skin, or back or hand first.
  • Brush and pat downward and outwards using strokes all across your face. Look to blend as you go.

How to clean the foundation brush:
  • I always look to clean my brushes after every use because I always love to keep my brushes super, squeaky clean - so that when I do apply the next time round, my brushes are clean to work with.
  • You can simply wash your brush in warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly. What I like to do is to apply some baby shampoo onto the brush and brushing this up and down on my palm. This allows for the brushes to be effectively cleaned.
  • Make sure you rinse and allow the brushes to air dry.

I actually like this foundation brush as it's super handy to use, not heavy at all to hold which is good. It's easily found in stores and the best thing about this brush is that it's not too big either. You can pack this in your travelling pouch easily without any hassles.

WHERE TO BEST PURCHASE:
  • RRP $11.99

FEATURING QVS PROFESSIONAL FOUNDATION SPONGE (FOR COVERAGE AND BLENDING PURPOSES)

Again, after using your foundation brush to apply your foundation on, it's always ideal to make sure that you get a good and even blend to your coverage. Also known as the "Deluxe Egg Sponge", this amazing sponge is similar to what you call a "Beauty Blender" and the only difference is that it's super affordable. This Foundation sponge by QVS is ideal for expert coverage and if you're wanting a professional finish to your blending look. You'll be pleased to know that it's made latex free and consists of micro fine texture which is what enables to give you that perfect, flawless and even blend. Since that it's latex free, it's super ideal for people with sensitive skin or allergies.

The shape of the sponge is similar to what you can an egg. It's of an egg shape where it's made with a tip so that you can also look to reach the hard to get areas of your face such as sides of nose, cheeks and forehead. It's made with rounded edges so that it also looks to allow you to blend well. What I also love about the egg-shaped sponge is that it creates a beauty effect for your foundation look and really covers the hard to reach spaces with full coverage which is what definitely impressed me about this product. It's a great and affordable alternative from the Beauty Blender and I would say in the long-run this would be much reasonable to get if you're looking to use the egg-sponge as part of your daily foundation routine.

How to use the foundation sponge:
  • You would just dampen the sponge. (Don't soak the sponge!)
  • Then look to apply the foundation onto the sponge or directly on your skin. (Whichever you feel most comfortable with)
  • Apply this on your nose, forehead, cheeks and chin.
  • Use the ball end to press the foundation on your face by blending outwards.
  • Then turn it over to the pointed side and blend around the nose and eye areas. (Also make sure that you don't rub or wipe).

How to clean the foundation sponge:
  • I always look to clean my sponge after every use because I always love to keep my sponge super, squeaky clean - so that when I do apply the next time round, my sponges are clean to work with.
  • You can simply wash your sponge in warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly. What I like to do is to apply some baby shampoo onto the sponge.
  • Make sure you rinse and allow the sponge to air dry.

WHERE TO BEST PURCHASE:
  • RRP $7.99
  • Available at selected pharmacies and Target Australia nationwide.

FEATURING 2 POWDER PUFFS FOR PRESSED OR LOOSE POWDER BY QVS

What happens when you lose your powder puff? Not a worry because you can easily replace the missing puff with QVS Powder puffs which are so affordable to get at your nearest Target or Big W store around Australia. They are 100% cotton velour which have been designed so you can look to apply and blend your pressed or loose powder. Using the right tools really makes an enormous difference to your overall look because of the ease of application, maximum control that you get and also when you're wanting to perfect that flawless finish. For myself, after using foundation, I always love to use pressed powder to really look to lock in any shine or oiliness to my face. Using these puff pads has allowed me to get a nice finish to my overall foundation look. As for the types of pressed or loose powder this could be either a bronzer, blush, shimmer or even loose mineral powder.

The application of using these puffs were extremely soft and amazing. It really gave a nice touch of finish to my overall look which was good. I would most definitely consider repurchasing this affordable essential by QVS.

How to use the powder puff by QVS:
  • Look to pat the puff into powder first. Tap off any excess product.
  • Then gently work this puff across your cheeks, face, forehead, body or face until the desired coverage is achieved.
  • Just be wary that a little powder goes a long way...I tend to think that I don't have enough powder on my puff since it's small but trust me...you get enough product after making one or two swirls.
  • Apply sparingly.

How to clean the powder puff:
  • Regularly wash your powder puff in warm and soapy water rinsing thoroughly.
  • Gently squeeze out any excess and allow to air dry.

WHERE TO BEST PURCHASE:
  • RRP $3.99 for a pack of 2 puffs.
  • Available at selected pharmacies and Target Australia nationwide.
  • Otherwise please hit up their official website to check out more information: http://www.qualityvaluestyle.com/
