SELF-TANNING PRODUCT REVIEW: FEAT. FAKE BAKE TANNING BUTTER, MY FIRST TIME EXPERIENCES !

HELLO BEAUTIES!

Welcome back to my beauty page where I pop all of my experiences I had a with a beauty product. Next on my plate, the topic I will look to feature is of course: SELF-TANNING PRODUCTS. To be more specific, FAKE BAKE which is an internationally, renowned, high-end salon professional line of self-tan products and treatments. I looked to try out the Fake Bake Tanning Butter which is a best option for those who are new to self-tanning.

What I discovered about the Fake Bake Tanning Butter is that it's been formulated for those who suffer from dry skin. The butter is the best alternative to tanning if your skin is very dry. The butter is regarded as a premium product because it's been formulated using two of the highest grade organic butters which is what delivers rich moisture to your skin.

When I first opened the cap of the product, it reminded me of sweet chocolate! It's a beautiful sheer and light texture which you look to smooth all over the surface of your skin. It definitely looks to make your skin more youthful looking, especially if you have dry skin. Once you smooth the product all over the skin, it will instantly glow. There is also naturally derived anti-oxidants which further aid in fighting free radicals which can contribute to the ageing of the skin. By using the tanning butter by Fake Bake, it definitely has given much of a flawless application and most importantly it's mess-free.

So ideally, the tanning butter is for those with dry skin. I myself, do suffer from having dry legs everyday - so this was the perfect product for me if I were wanting to a quick fix to a self-tanning solution. There's also Grade A Shea butter and mango seed butter which when combined, they both work together to smooth out any fine wrinkles, reduce caking and also looks to fade stretch marks.

Best of all, the product is paraben free, has no animal testing conducted on the products and also contains natural organic preservatives. Scent wise, I would describe this product as a sweet, coconut with a hint of cocoa flavour to it. When applied onto skin, I could instantly smell the addictive and pleasant scent to it. It was definitely bearable and I found no issues to using the product.

So how to use the Fake Bake Tanning Butter, see the simple steps below:

  • Make sure you wear your waterproof gloves when applying.
  • Best to apply the tan in the evening and let the tan to develop overnight.
  • Apply small amounts of the butter to your legs, arms and sections you wish to tan. Next, use circular motions to smooth it onto areas.
  • Always end knees and elbows when applying.
  • Allow the product to dry thoroughly.
  • Buff with a dry towel to remove excess product.
  • Needs to be re-applied once a week if you're wanting that beautiful glow.
I definitely had a simple and enjoyable experience with using this tanning butter because there was no mess at all (no drips too). I was able to cover my legs and arms evenly by using a glove and ensuring that I use circular motions. After applying, I love the overall results because it gave my legs more of a golden, natural looking tan which I really loved.
This is ideal for those who are heading out to a special occasion or an event. You can simply pop the product onto the skin on the night before the event. You'll be amazed by how fast and effective the self-tanning butter works. I'm a sucker for a golden glow, especially when it comes to my hands and legs. With winter dominating one more month, I am always up for a natural, glowing tan which looks good. And in this case, Fake Bake was super easy to use and I am definitely impressed with the overall results.
