TYPES OF SKIN PROTECTION/COVERAGE CREAMS FEAT. CANCER COUNCIL FACE MOISTURISER, FOUNDATION + BB CREME (3 IN 1) - SPF30+ REVIEW !

ALOHA BEAUTIES!

Ever needed a good type of skin care product but wanted that high SPF30+ factor to it?

You'll be pleased to know that Cancer Council also offers face moisturisers, foundation and even BB creme (3 in 1) which are catered for all skin types. When we think of Cancer Council, we think a high protection sunscreen brand right? What if you could have the same benefits through your make-up products? You get the full protection from the sun's UV rays, plus you can look absolutely stunning and or flawless.

I usually stick to a the Cancer Council brand when it comes to choosing a well trusted and good quality brand of sunscreen. It goes well on my face and the staying on power lasts longer so I don't have to worry about re-applying for more than 2 hours.

I looked to review the following products by Cancer Council Australia which offer good coverage and a high SPF 30+ of sun protection:
  • Cancer Council - Face Moisturiser
  • Cancer Council - Foundation
  • Cancer Council - BB Creme (3 in 1)

I absolutely loved the Cancer Council's Face Moisturiser which gives you smooth and flawless looking skin. If you've missed out, you can check out the full review on that right HERE. This is when I was introduced to the high sun protection beauty product. As for the other Foundation and BB Creme, I am so excited to share my thoughts so please check it out below lovelies! xx

CANCER COUNCIL, FOUNDATION (VELVETY-SMOOTH EVEN COVERAGE) NATURAL LOOK FOUNDATION, SPF 30+

Already by purchasing the product, you are helping to fund cancer research, patient support and education.

So for my first impressions of this type of foundation in the colour BEIGE, I found that the finish was very natural looking and gave a really nice and smooth complexion. It sure does give an even coverage to skin and it blended really well. I took a photo of a swatch of the product (see below) to give you an idea of how the colour looks. It's not too dark for my skin which is great. My skin is of fair to medium colour and using the colour in beige onto my skin blended really consistently so that was good.

The greatest aspect of this foundation is that it gives a full SPF 30+ of sun protection against the harmful UV rays which comes useful if you're always exposed to the sun. This would help to protect your skin from the sun rays.

HOW TO USE:
  • Gently smooth the product onto a clean sponge such as the Beauty Blender or your fingertips.
  • Look to blend the product all over your forehead, nose, chin and cheeks evenly.
  • You can also alternatively finish off with powder.

OVERALL, I felt that this foundation gave a really smooth finish to my skin which I was quite happy about. It really does live up to its "Velvet smooth even coverage" and I am highly impressed with this foundation. I wore this on for the whole day (9am-5pm) and did not find any blotches, redness or irritations from using the foundation. It stayed on smooth all day and occasionally I would just have to use finishing powder to blot any minimal oiliness that we would naturally get on our faces. If you're wanting a natural finish and also the high sun protection, then this would be the ideal product for you. It was very breathable on my skin and it felt so comfortable wearing the foundation all day, hence no issues at all by using this foundation.

PRODUCT PACKAGING, It came in a 50ml flip top tube which was quite light to hold, making this super travel friendly. It also says that it hasn't been tested on animals so it really ticked my right boxes.

POSITIVES:
  • Comes in SPF 30+
  • Gives a velvet, smooth and even coverage to skin.
  • For fair to medium coloured skin.
  • Made my skin look very natural and not "caked" on.

NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!

BEAUTY TIPS:
  • Look to gently smooth the foundation over your forehead, chin, cheeks and nose evenly by using clean finger tips or a beauty sponge.

SWATCH TEST

Suitable for fair to medium toned coloured skin.

CANCER COUNCIL, BB CREME (3 IN 1) - SMOOTH BB CREME CORRECTS SKIN TONE, MOISTURISES AND PROTECTS) SPF 30+

Already by purchasing the product, you are helping to fund cancer research, patient support and education.

The BB Creme gives three benefits in one little tube of 50ml. It looks to smooth and correct the skin tone, moisturises at the same time along with protecting the skin. These are the three benefits of the BB Creme which are attractive aspects to note if I were seeking a BB Creme for my skin tone. The BB Creme went very smooth and silky on my skin. This must've been all three benefits working together to make it all happen.

The product actually has SPF 30+ in it so this means that it looks to protect the delicate face areas from any UV damage. Not only that, it corrected my uneven skin tone. I tried out the shade in Medium and this was perfect for my skin because it blended in so well. At first I thought medium was going to be too dark, but then the more I blended in the BB Creme, the more I realised that it was correcting my skin tone at the same time. I am impressed with the BB Creme and as an avid user of BB Creams, this most certainly struck as effective for my skin because it delivered all of the benefits that I need in order for my skin to look and feel great. I wore this on for the entire day and found no issues or oiliness to using this product. It stayed on the whole day and I didn't even have to re-apply. It really leaves a nice, matte finish with a second layer of the BB Creme and if you like the matte look, then you'll love this beauty.

HOW TO USE:
  • Gently smooth the product onto a clean sponge such as the Beauty Blender or your fingertips.
  • Look to blend the product all over your forehead, nose, chin and cheeks evenly.
  • You can also alternatively finish off with powder.
  • If you're wanting more of a matte-finish or a full coverage, I would recommend applying another layer of the BB Creme.

POSITIVES:
  • Comes in SPF 30+
  • Gives a smooth and silky coverage to skin.
  • For fair to medium coloured skin.
  • Helps to hide any blemishes.
  • Protects the skin against UV damage.
  • Comes with three benefits including: Smoothing/Correcting the skin; Protecting the skin and moisturising the skin.

NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!

BEAUTY TIPS:
  • Look to gently smooth the foundation over your forehead, chin, cheeks and nose evenly by using clean finger tips or a beauty sponge.

WHERE TO PURCHASE:
  • RRP $15.95
