*BREATHES*

If you have missed Part 1 to my Top Affordable Beauty Tools from UBU, then be sure to click HERE to check it out.

Featuring UBU which stands for Urban Beauty United, they're stocked at your nearest Kmart all around Australia. And for the international readers out there, not only is this stocked in Australia, but you'll also be pleased to know that it's available worldwide and you can see whether your country is on the list by simply clicking on this link here: http://www.urbanbeautyunited.com/locations/australia

In this post, I look to show you guys on another good buy from the UBU brand featuring their colourful Sponge Cakes (Sounds edible right? - But it's not!) and also their Nicely Nailed Nail Shapers which comes with a CutieCool stick which is useful when it comes to your manicures and pedicures.

They are so affordable to purchase from Kmart and best of all they're so funky looking to have. Check out my thoughts below to see what I thought of each of these lovely beauty tools.
 UBU NICELY NAILED
2 NAIL SHAPERS WITH BONUS CUTIECOOL STICK.

Make some noise and break the rules with the UBU Nicely Nailed range which features 2 nail shapers that comes bonus too with a cutiecool stick that's perfect for your manicure and pedicure needs. These nail shapers are so funky and groovy looking, they're definitely an eye catcher. The nail shapers come with a clever cushion which makes your manicure and pedicure process much comfortable to do at home. In this pack, you get 2 nail shapers which is good, plus the cutiecool stick which means you get bonus value for the price you pay for.

One tip to always remember when filing your nails is to always file in ONE direction only to avoid any nail breakages along the way. (Sometimes I forget to do this and so I use both directions, which then leaves me with nail breakages which isn't cool at all!) The Nail shapers and the Cutiecool stick all come in a zip lock bag so I love the whole idea of how you can easily store it away in the packaging. The nail shapers are covered with sand paper texture on both sides so this gives you more options to utilise both sides.

As for the cutiecool stick, you would use the slant side to push back your cuticles and then look to rub off any left over skin with the candy coloured emery tip. This product is something you want to really keep away from the little kiddies because it's quite sharp.

WHERE TO PURCHASE:
UBU SPONGE CAKES - FOUNDATION SPONGE DUO

Featuring a colourful sponge that's made for applying and blending liquid and paste based foundation.

Their sponges are made latex free and are made from Hydrophilic foam which basically means they love water and hate oil, hence making them last longer for you. How I would use these lovely sponges would be by wetting the sponges first and squeezing any excess water out. You'll realise that after doing this, the sponge will feel softer, which then makes your make-up application go smoother and flawless looking. If you also see your sponge growing, have no fear because it will simply go back to its original state when it does dry out.

The sponge is amazing and works well with my liquid foundations. To also allow my make-up to go better on my face, I would dampen the sponge with either toner or some water before dabbing some foundation with it on. What you get from using the sponge is a nice and streak-free application to your foundation routine. There are two sponges in the UBU Duo which includes one that's completely round and very dense, whilst the other is an oval pinched shape which is perfect for applying foundation around your nose and under the eyes. I clean these sponges after every use to avoid any bacterial growth on them so be sure to maintain a nice and clean sponge after every use. You can choose to use shampoo to wash these sponges if desired, else you may use a brush cleaner. Remember to rinse and squeeze out any excess water afterwards, allowing it dry naturally.

How I would use this sponge is by simply dabbing a small amount of foundation or concealer onto the back of my hand and then dabbing the sponge onto it. I would then apply this directly with the sponge onto my face by ensuring that it's smoothed across my face.
