THE BODY SHOP FEATURING - OILS OF LIFE - INTENSELY REVITALISING CREAM + OILS OF LIFE - FACIAL OIL REVIEW!

HELLO BEAUTIES!

WELCOME BACK TO MY PAGE AND I AM SO EXCITED TO SHOWCASE TO YOU WITH SOME OF THE NEW RANGE OF SKINCARE PRODUCTS I TRIED OUT FROM THE BODY SHOP.

FEATURING, OILS OF LIFE - BY THE BODY SHOP.

I'll start off by saying that when it comes to one particular brand that comes to my mind when I think of "spa skincare products" that can look to rejuvenate the skin but also at the same time offer a spa-like experience, that would have to be The Body Shop.

The Body Shop has recently released their new range featuring "Oils of Life" which is their brand new collection. Most of the products have been infused with cumin seed oil, rosehip seed oil and camellia seed oil - which all offer revitalising and repairing properties on the skin. The new range is made to revitalise and revive the skin and also at the same time look to reduce any signs of ageing. (I am totally for a product that can always look to benefit my skin and reduce the ageing effects!)

And to just give a little snippet of the importance of the seed oils that have been used in the products, it's the seeds itself that are the most concentrated sources of essential nutrients on the earth.

The Seed Oil Revolution consists of:
  • Black Cumin Seed Oil (From the Egyptian Nile Valley) - which is best known for its antioxidants.
  • Camellia Seed Oil (From the Evergreen Trees of China) - which is naturally rich in oleic acids.
  • Rosehip Seed Oil (From the Andes Foothills of Chile) - which is rich in Omega 3 and 6.

Being a huge fan of The Body Shop and with skin dry-combination skin during Spring and Summer, I decided to take two products to the test from the Oils of Life range.

So check out my thoughts below to see whether this worked for me or not.

THE BODY SHOP - OILS OF LIFE - INTENSELY REVITALISING CREAM

Featuring a really silky-soft texture cream that contains skin-perfecting micro-pearls so that you get more of a youthful-looking glow and with a non-greasy finish to your overall look.
After using the Intensely Revitalising Cream from the Oils of Life range by The Body Shop. I could instantly feel how easily the cream looks to absorb onto the skin leaving a really light and comfortable finish to it. There is no greasy feeling to the cream so this is always a positive aspect to consider when it comes to the Intensely Revitalising Cream. My skin felt so smooth, soft and supple which really made my skin feel really good. It's hard to find a really good product that could offer the benefits of a non-greasy formula and also which revitalises and nourishes the skin very well - but thanks to the NEW Intensely Revitalising Cream, I am amazed by the results that I have gained over the few weeks of using the cream on a daily basis.

After a few weeks, I could notice less wrinkles and any further ageing is reduced significantly around my eye areas. This cream works amazingly well and the smell is simply divine and so refreshing to the senses. I would describe the smell sort of like a herbal mix which is quite relaxing at the same time which of course explains that the main ingredients comprise of black cumin seed oil, rosehip seed oil and camellia seed oil. These are the ingredients are are so beneficial for the skin and is what improves our skin complexion by making it soft and supple once again. If you happen to get dry and flaky skin from time time, then this is the perfect cream for you in that case. It's so silky for a cream which applies well and feels very comfortable on the skin when applied on.

Not only does the cream absorb instantly but it's also very hydrating and brightening for the skin which is good if you're looking for a multi-purpose cream that can look to target skin toning, hydration and suppleness. This is by far one of the best combined oil intensive cream in the market because it's not too heavy and the formula is so gentle for dry-normal-combination skin out there. It's definitely a must have necessity out there if you are looking for a cream that can also look to reduce the signs of ageing.

How I would use the cream is by a daily revitalising ritual which involves applying the cream onto my face and neck every morning and evening. I would just use a small pea-sized amount onto the fingertips and look to massage this gentle all over my face and neck using an upward motion.

Product packaging wise - it's packaged in such a beautiful packaging which screams luxury and elegance to it. The jar is simply gorgeous and I cannot get over how luxe the cardboard packaging looks. The jar comes in a translucent ochre-coloured glass jar with a black plastic cap. It looks very sleek and classy for a cream and I am so amazed by the Oils of Life range. It's Made in France and comes in a 50ml jar.

POSITIVES:
  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • Dermatologically tested.
  • Made in France.
  • Reduces the signs of ageing.
  • Fast absorbing.
  • Non-greasy.
  • Very revitalising on skin.

NEGATIVES:
  • Zilch!

THE BODY SHOP - OILS OF LIFE - INTENSELY REVITALISING FACIAL OIL

Featuring an intensely revitalising facial oil where it looks to revitalise skin and visibly reduce the signs of ageing.

If you have never tested facial oils, then the first one you should look to try is the Oils of Life, Revitalising Facial Oil. It's a type of facial oil which revitalises the skin and will visibly reduce the signs of ageing - whether it be fine lines and wrinkles around your face. For me, when it comes to facial oils, it's all about targeting the signs of ageing. 99% of the oils are from natural origin which makes this such a natural and gentle product to use for the skin.

The facial oil is so lightweight and when applied onto the face and neck, I felt the product instantly absorb or how would I describe this, "melt" onto my skin where it left my face feeling so soft and non-sticky. There is no sticky feeling to the product which is absolutely a great aspect to using the facial oil. The fact that it can work to make my skin feel soft and supple - makes this an ideal product for those wanting to reduce the visible signs of ageing and wanting more of a healthier radiance. The product absorbs into the skin very quickly and the product smells really earthy and clean.

The bottle itself is presented in 30ml in this unique dropper bottle. It's quite fancy and sleek for a facial oil and I must say it looks so pretty to look at.

How I would use the facial oil is by applying 1-2 drops onto my face and neck and then look to gently massage this into the skin every morning and evening.

Overall, it's truly a remarkable facial oil to use if you're wanting to revive your skin look once again. I would highly recommend this product to those wanting to reduce the signs of ageing.

POSITIVES:
  • Suitable for all skin types.
  • Dermatologically tested.
  • Made in France.
  • Reduces the signs of ageing and skin looks more revitalised.
  • Fast absorbing and very lightweight.
  • Made from 99% oils of natural origin.
