WHY WE NEED TO USE NIGHT CREAMS - SUPERHEROES IN OUR BEAUTY ROUTINE FEAT. BOOTS LABORATORIES SERUM7 REGENERATING NIGHT CREAM REVIEW!

                                      HELLO EVERYBODY!

HOW IS EVERYONE GOING? BACK TO WORK OR SCHOOL I ASSUME? GOSH! HOW HOT WAS THE WHOLE OF NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA TODAY? THERE SURE WAS A MASSIVE HEAT WAVE & I HOPE EVERYONE KEPT COOL AND HYDRATED.

TOPIC FOR TODAY?
NIGHT CREAMS

So what is the purpose of night creams and how does it benefit our skin? Like day creams focus on protecting the skin from any harsh elements, the night creams work by regenerating and repairing our skin overnight. It's mainly at night when the skin looks to regenerate and does its job to repair any barriers. We don't know it, but while we sleep overnight, our skin looks to restore and repair itself which is why I use them on a nightly basis. They're not only for the older women but it's essential for those aged around 28-40 years of age.
The Product Commercialisation Manager at Sigma. David Murray says that: "There are benefits to applying a night cream since skin is more receptive to active ingredients when we sleep as it doesn't have to compete with damaging UV rays, environmental stresses or make-up. Night creams have the chance to penetrate deep into your skin and give you eight hours of rejuvenation and hydration."
Featuring the Boots Laboratories Serum 7 Regenerating Night Cream, I looked to test this cream out every night to see whether it would look to benefit my skin. My skin's current condition BEFORE using the night cream was that it felt dull, dry and lacked elasticity to it. I looked to check this product out by applying it onto my face every night after cleansing with a thorough cleanser.

To be able to grasp the advantage of the skin's cell renewal process in the evening, Boots Laboratories have a range of anti-ageing night cream which have been specifically targeted to certain age groups.

Likewise with the Serum7 regenerating night cream, it aims to target women aged 28-40 years of age. This serum has been created to help alleviate the first signs of ageing. I tried the product in Dry Skin as my skin is usually face with random dry patches and would become flaky here and there. It's because I am always constantly under an air-conditioned environment which means that my skin can go a bit haywire when it comes to being in that certain type of environment. The Serum7 regenerating night cream also comes in Normal Skin should your skin not be dry at all.

What I experienced from using this serum is that I felt that it absorbed really quickly and so easily that I could feel my skin so hydrated the next morning. It was not dry or flaky at all which I was certainly pleased about. Overnight, the serum looked to rejuvenate and repair my skin cells which is also called your beauty sleep. The rich nourishing formula also looks to leave your skin feeling super soft, smooth and so radiant. The next morning, I could literally see my skin glowing and it was really nice to know that overnight, this product looked to benefit my skin by making it feel smoother and less rough. Also, if you're like and suffer from small fine lines and wrinkles near the eye area, then you can be rest assured that after 3 weeks of using this serum, your skin will look smoother and the fine lines and wrinkles will reduce in appearance.

Also, another great aspect to the Boots range is that their products are hypoallergenic which means that it does not clog your pores. It's also safe to use for sensitive skin types.

Overall, I highly recommend this as a night cream to use on a daily basis if you're around the ages of 28-40 because with continued use it helps to alleviate the first signs of ageing. When it comes to ageing, it's something I like to really take great care of especially when it comes to my skin.
