HAPPY WEEKENDS ALL!

I can't wait to conclude the Bold Metals Collection review for Part III, happy reading folks!

IF you happened to miss out on Part II of the Bold Metals Collection, catch up on your reading here, where I looked to cover the Angled Liner (202), Flat Contouring brush (301) and the Pointed Crease (201). They're definitely a range that's not to be missed - especially when you're shopping at Priceline or you can also grab these online at The Beauty Office: https://thebeautyoffice.com.au/

In the final part of the Bold Metals collection, I look to take you through a journey with the last three brushes I looked to try out which include:

  • Bold Metals Collection, 300 Tapered Brush
  • Bold Metals Collection, 200 Oval Shadow Brush
  • Bold Metals Collection, 100 Arched Powder Brush

And to really give you an idea of why these have been colour code in such gorgeous metallic colours is that they're coded accordingly to the area of application. So for example, the silver brushes are aimed to be used around the eye areas, whereas the rose gold coloured brushes focuses on the cheeks. These brushes have been tremendously popular among make-up artists, gurus, fanatics, shopaholics and so on! What you'll find about these metallic bold collection brushes is that they're super sleek looking, feels comfortable with the grip and handling and finally, the bristles are amazingly soft which is AMAZING!

The brushes are made available at literally every Priceline store or online via The Beauty Office

The Real Techniques, Bold Metal Collection is a set that you'd definitely want to collect. They're really unique and luxe looking and for the quality itself, it feels super soft because it's made of of the highest grade synthetic brush fibres which essentially provides the highest quality of precision to your make-up application. (That way your make-up application will be really flawless). There is definitely a luxurious feel to using the brushes and what's more is that the brushes feature ergonomically weighted handles for the best comfort and control.
Erica Galea for Chemcorp International says: “We’re thrilled to be bringing Australian consumers the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection™. Real Techniques is a global leader in makeup brushes, and this new collection takes it up another level with products that are both aesthetically beautiful, and provide the highest-quality, precision application - definitely every makeup bag’s new must-have.”
So, check out the below range to see what I really thought of these x

BOLD METALS COLLECTION, 300 TAPERED BRUSH

Featured as a rose gold metallic coloured brush, it falls under the category of cheeks. It's specially designed so that you can really look to highlight and sculpt your cheekbones for a seamless finish. The brush bristles are super soft and when used onto the skin, it feels very luxe and so comfortable too. The brush itself is not too heavy which is good and it's been weighted for the optimal control and comfort.

This brush would be ideal for applying on blush and even if you're wanting to highlight the cheeks too. The shape of the brush is in an expert-designed style which really provides for a more focused application to your cheek colour. I love how I get the fullest control over applying on a cream or powdered based blush, because it's so much easier by using the 300 Tapered Brush. The bristles are also perfectly spaced so that you get an air-brushed and also allows for a buildable application. The fact that the bristles are white, actually helps with knowing exactly how much make-up is on the brush before application. This is essentially perfect for avoiding product wastage and also an indication of how much powder you're using for your make-up application. The ferrules are made from quality premium brass for the maximum durability. Once you handle the brush, you can never go back because it's comfortable, sleek and holds perfect in the hand for the best optimal control. The brushes do not even roll away from your table which is the best part of it all. (Who here notices that their other brushes tend to roll of your table?)...well not for this brush in particular. They have unique geometric handles which help the brushes to stay in place and not roll away.

There are also no issues to the shedding of the brush itself so it's definitely worth to invest in if you're looking for a good quality type of blush brush. It's also ideal for contouring and finish powders with a medium to full coverage.

POSITIVES:
  • Bristles are soft as ever and feel very luxe.
  • The brush ferrules are made from premium quality brass for the maximum durability.
  • No shedding to the bristles.
  • Ergonomic designed.
  • Easy to clean.
  • Ideal for blush, contouring and finishing powders.
NEGATIVES:
  • Although this range may be in the luxury high end price range, it's definitely worth to invest in if you're looking for a good set of quality brushes! They will last longer in the long run and also give you a flawless and better coverage for your make-up application.

The bristles are softer than ever.

The brush handling and grip is comfortable.

BOLD METALS COLLECTION, 200 OVAL SHADOW

Featuring as a silver metallic coloured brush, this falls into the category of eyes. This full, round shaped brush allows for an all-over lid application and also allows for a seamless blending. Again, the bristles are not to disappoint as they feel super soft and luxe. The brush is weighted for the best control, comfort and grip.

It's ideal for using powdered, cream or even glittered eye shadows. I really enjoyed using this particular brush because it gave me a medium to full coverage. The brush is tapered so that means it can reach under my lash line perfectly and without any hassles. For its primary use, it's also good for applying on the base eye colour. As for its secondary use, it's good for highlighting the brow bone.

This brush is simply gorgeous and I am amazed how the weight (it's not too heavy) and the fact that it fits comfortably in my hand. You can see that the brush head is densely packed and the bristles are very firm which means that you get a buildable coverage of your eyeshadow. The brush head is quite big which means that it actually helped me to to apply eyeshadow in just one swipe!

POSITIVES:
  • Medium to full coverage.
  • The brush ferrules are made from premium quality brass for the maximum durability.
  • No shedding to the bristles.
  • Ergonomic designed.
  • Tapered brush.
  • Ideal for applying powdered or cream based eyeshadow.

BOLD METALS COLLECTION, 100 ARCHED POWDER

Featuring the Arched Powder brush in the gold metallic colour range, this falls in the category of face. I would have to say that this is a large, soft and fluffy powder brush which is my favourite from the range. The fact that it can help to pick up the right amount of powder and also look to reduces any product wastage is already a positive factor. The brush assists in helping to get the job done faster - making my life much easier. The brush is tapered on both sides and I simply love how effective it is when it comes to applying my pressed or loose powder onto my face. It's best for a light to medium coverage application. Its primary use would be finishing powder and the secondary use is for bronzers - which is ideal because you really need a big, fluffy brush to achieve a flawless application.

The brush bristles are white and again it shows you how much make-up you have used which is essentially good to know. As for the handling and grip of the brush, it's weighted perfectly because you don't have to apply that much pressure to the brush hence making it so worthwhile to get!

Finally, when it comes to the brushes itself is that they're all very versatile, super easy to use and really easy to clean and maintain. The range feels so luxurious and I am so glad that these brushes have really helped with my make-up application.

POSITIVES:
  • Easy to clean.
  • The brush ferrules are made from premium quality brass for the maximum durability.
