SEPHORA in Sydney Pitt Street Mall is always jam packed with many beauty fanatics and I'm starting to guess why....Christmas is less than one month away folks! (The time is ticking) Plus the store is filled with so many amazing Christmas packs that are suitable for the perfect gift giving season.

When it comes to skin and body care essentials, I usually tend to stick with one brand. However, thanks this one time at the Sephora Holiday Showcase, I was able to expand my brand knowledge of many skincare and beauty products out in the market. The best thing about Sephora, is that they're stocked with the best quality products from around the world.

Not sure if you have ever heard of the brands I will look to mention, but I have tested out two amazing luxe brands that are essential for the face and the body. These brands being: Estelle & Thild Stockholm and June Jacobs. After using both of these products as a pamper DIY treatment at home, my skin has really felt smoother and amazingly softer afterwards. It was my first time testing out these products and I can't wait to tell you guys all about my experiences. So... sit back and relax!

Estelle & Thild Spring Rose Blonde Body Scrub - Estelle and Thild

Discovering a new brand is always a first and exciting experience for me. Estelle & Thild have entered the market as a new generation of Ecocert Certified organic sustainable skin care that's been derived from bioactive ingredients with proven effects. If you were wondering, it's a Swedish brand that's based on vitamin-rich oils and plant extracts that are amazing for skin vitality as it provides a luxurious texture. The scents are beautiful and smell simply divine. It's also a great aspect to note that the product is very gentle and is suitable for those with sensitive skin where it's made to nourish young and mature skin.

So what is this Rose Blonde body scrub by the Estelle & Thild range? It's pretty straight forward for a body scrub and very easy to use. How it works is that it simply lifts away any dead skin cells with its sugar particles, hence leaving the skin feeling super soft and glowing. I would say this is more of a body polish and is so effective if you are wanting smoother looking skin. The polish smells so luxurious and it somewhat reminds me of a rose garden. If you love the smell of roses, you'll surely be addicted to this scrub. In the scrub itself, it is enriched with organic ingredients which simply help you to feel relaxed and calm. There are also notes of smooth violet leaf which makes the body polish very feminine and you can also make out the aroma of sweet apricot nectar.

The product comes in a recyclable plastic jar with a screw lid which is convenient to have on your bathroom cabinet or even in the shower. The shelf life on this product is approximately 12 months from opening the product. The best aspect of this product to consider is that it is NOT tested on animals making this product cruelty free. (For the animal lovers out there)

How I would use the body scrub is by doing this before a bath or shower. I would work the body scrub onto damp skin and then look to rinse off. Please note that it's only to be used on the body and NOT the face. Ideally, this can be followed with using a lotion or body butter.

Featuring the body scrub itself.

This has to be one of the BEST face masks I have tried to date. The mask itself smells brilliant and the texture comes in a gel form which is quite comforting and soothing for my skin. It's truly a great boost to your skin's hydration levels. The product is free from any parabens and preservatives - which makes this super gentle to use. The masque is very refreshing and it comes in a gel form. I would describe the scent of the mask as a fresh batch of mandarin oranges which is very citrus and light.

The algae extracts and hyaluronic acid act as humectants which retain the moisture in the skin. Having this masque on the face did not dry my complexion and instead revealed a much toned skin texture which did not add excess oil to the face which is good. In the product itself, there's a powerful patent pending anti-oxidant blend of white, red and gree tea extracts which has been combined with berry, pomegranate and grape seed extracts which all help to neutralize any free radicals, protect your skin and in the long run will certainly help to combat the visible signs of premature ageing.

Once I had the gel masque on, I felt a very nice cooling sensation which was bearable. In terms of whether this product works? I would say hands down, it's the best masque for if you're wanting a refreshing mask that will look to bring back the hydration to your skin. Plus, it's not a musky type of mask, and instead it's a fruity-mandarin scent which smells refreshing and relaxing. You will also be pleased to know that this gel masque is safe for ALL skin types to use even with sensitive skin. I experienced no redness or dryness from using this gel masque, and it's definitely one of the best face gel masks I have used. In terms of storing this product, knowing that it's in gel form, it can be stored in the refrigerator as a cooling treatment. Pop this beauty into the fridge and you can guarantee a cooled beauty treatment for your skin.

How I would use this is right after cleansing. I would apply a generous amount onto the face and neck with using only my fingertips. After 10 minutes, look to remove the masque using lukewarm water and then look to pat this dry. Next, follow this with a toner, serum and moisturiser.

Have you seen these stores in Sephora

Happy reading!
