[FIRST IMPRESSIONS] MY TAKE ON THE GLAM AFFAIR MINERAL MAKE-UP RANGE!

HEY BEAUTIES!

If you have not heard of Glam Affair before, you'll be pleased to know that they're an Australian mineral makeup company. They supply a high quality range of safe and mineral products to all of Australia.

When it comes to mineral make-up, I am always all for it because they're safe to use on the skin and we know that it doesn't contain any nasties, parabens and so forth. Not only do Glam Affair offers a make-up range but they also hold make-up workshops and classes regularly in Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast.

I've recently tried and tested out Glam Affair's make-up range to really see what it could do for me in terms of quality and the effectiveness of each product. So as you can see from the flatlay above, I've tried out the following which I will be discussing more into-depth below:
  • Glam Affair, Mineral Eyeshadow range,
  • Glam Affair, Mineral Blush
  • Glam Affair, Mineral Lipsticks,
  • Glam Affair, Power Brush and pocket sized brush.

Furthermore, I am so excited to tell you guys all about their mineral make-up range because what better way to invest in products that are safe and gentle for our skin, and where it will not harm our health in the long-term. Applying on make-up should feel comfortable and that's why I believe the mineral range from Glam Affair is a great start for those who are new to make-up and are wanting to try mineral based products that won't clog your skin.

So be sure what I thought of each mineral products right below xoxo

GLAM AFFAIR BRUSHES FEAT THE POWDER BRUSH + TRAVEL SIZED COMPACT BRUSH!

Both the Powder and the travel sized brush are super useful when it comes to applying on blushes and powders. I'll start off with the Powder Brush by Glam Affair, it's the perfect brush for applying on your powders or powdered foundation because of its full sized head. It's 100% synthetic meaning that no real animal hair were used in the making of the brushes which is good. And the best thing I can note about this brush is that it feels SUPER soft and plush. I love how soft this brush feels because it does not look to irritate the skin at all. The handle of the brush feels sturdy and solid which makes it a brilliant brush to hold when applying on your powders.

With the compact travel sized brush, i's a convenient brush that stays protected for if you have this with you in your handbag. Again, the bristles feel super soft and is the perfect touch-up brush for your blushes and powders.

WHERE TO PURCHASE:

MINERAL LIPSTICKS + FOUNDATION PRIMER BY GLAM AFFAIR

So I tried out two of Glam Affair's Mineral Lipsticks in shades Glam and Romance. Both are stunning different types of pink shades and look amazing on the lips. The lipsticks come in a sleek, silver twist to open usual lipstick packaging. The pigmentation on these lipsticks are not so bad and for a mineral type of lipstick, it still goes on the lips feeling very nourishing and is not drying which is good to consider about these mineral lipsticks.

The Romance shade is more of a bright light pink shade whereas the Glam shade features more of a pink shade which is shown below in my swatched image. The mineral lipsticks are 100% free from nasties and 100% vegan.

As for their Mineral Foundation Primer, it definitely leaves your skin looking very flawless. This primer is so lightweight, it goes onto the skin feeling smooth and silky. It's also made for all skin types and this includes those who have sensitive skin as well. I wore this under my foundation for the whole night and it felt really comfortable, plus it made my foundation last longer which is definitely a positive factor to consider.

MINERAL BLUSH + EYE SHADOWS BY GLAM AFFAIR

I always love a good type of mineral blush because it helps to define the cheeks and adds more glow to your overall look. With Glam Affair's Mineral Blush in Cherry Blossom (Pictured above), it features a very light pink/rose shade that's perfect for any skin colour. This shade suits my skin colour perfectly and looks very natural. A little goes a long way when applying on blush on both cheeks. Once again the blush is a mineral based product which means is free from nasties and parabens making this an ideal blush to use for everyday.

Shade: Envy

Featuring Glam Affair's mineral eyeshadows, in shade Envy which is a nice deep purple shade. It makes a good shade if you're wanting to deepen your eyes with a nice purple shade.

Shade: Madeline

I love this lime green shade as it reminds me of a neutral shade that goes well with any other colour when blended well. There's also hints of shimmer in the shade which makes it a pretty eyeshadow to have on the eye lids or even as a base.

Shade: Sunset Glow

Last but not least we have Sunset Glow which is a medium orange brown shade with a hint of shimmer to it. It makes a nice base colour because it's easy to wear and does not look too heavy.

WHERE TO PURCHASE:
  • RRP $38 for the mineral eyeshadows,
  • RRP $56 for the mineral blush,

Overall, I am totally loving the mineral range by Glam Affair. What better way to use products that are mineral based, they still last long and they're safe for the skin.

Have you checked these out yet?

Let me know on what you think!

Happy weekends,

Cheers,
Livia xo
