I have been literally waiting for QV to release a light, matte finish face oil free moisturiser. Thank gosh it has finally arrived onto shelves.

So this post is dedicated to those who have oily and combination skin. When it comes to using cleansers, it's best to opt for a mild, liquid-to-foam face wash such as the QV Gentle Foaming cleanser. It hydrates whilst it cleanses your skin all at the same time. For the gentle foaming cleanser, it's completely soap free and the formula has been enriched with safflower oil and Vitamin E. I find that this cleanser works for my skin as it can become oily and combined at certain times of the day. The cleanser really looks to remove make-up, moisturises your skin well (as it contains Vitamin E), it's pH balanced and the formula is so gentle that I did not feel any skin irritations at all. The QV Face Gentle Foaming Cleansers RRP for $13.50 which is affordable for 150ml and comes in a convenient pump-sized product. So ideally, you can dispense the cleanser without the hassle of opening, closing or twisting the lid. Simply pump down and the cleanser will be dispelled. Also, what is great about the QV range is that they are made in Australia.

Secondly, I've been wanting to introduce the QV Face Oil Free Moisturiser (in Matte finish) to you guys. I was super impressed that it came in a matte finish because for my oily and combination skin complexion, I need a formula where it does not leave my skin looking shiny. This oil free moisturiser also contains Vitamin B3 + Pro-vitamin B5 for oily and combination skin. This product is suitable for those with sensitive skin as it's a lightweight and oil free face moisturiser that helps to minimise that shine and leaves your skin feeling fresh and hydrated all day long. The key ingredients include: Glycerin, Avemide 15, Witch Hazel, Vitamin B3 and Pro Vitamin B5.
Dr Kerryn Greive pHD, Scientific Affairs Manager at Ego Pharmaceuticals explains "Like all QV products, the QV Face Oil Free Moisturiser is formulated with ingredients that benefit the skin, we developed it based on feedback we received requesting an oil free moisturiser that was suitable for those with oil, combination and sensitive skin."
So how we exactly get oily skin? It occurs naturally due to the result of sebum production. Oily skin can lose water at the same rate as normal skin, hence there are many products out here that contain oil and in fact leaves the skin feeling greasy and oily which can be quite uncomfortable. How the QV Oil free moisturiser works is that it uses ingredients that helps to replenish the skin's moisture levels and reduces shine. There's no greasy feeling and I love what this moisturiser has provided to my overall skin complexion on a daily basis.

Overall, this is my daily go to face oil moisturiser that has worked for my skin type and where it has proven to be really effective. My skin tone and tone is visibly improved as well as the Vitamin B3 works to maintain a normal skin barrier function.
