I hope you are all having a relaxing weekend so far?
Autumn means that our skin will be more prone to drying and flaking which is why we need to ensure that we boost our moisturisation levels. This goes the same for your daily haircare routine too.

If you're looking for an affordable range to help with dry skin, then opt for the Dove products perhaps. I have always been a fan of the Dove range because their products have been specifically formulated so that we do feel the best when we use it onto our skin. Additionally, you cannot go wrong with the price because they're easily available at supermarkets which means that they are affordable and in the long-run, it's definitely more cost-worthy if you are going to be investing in affordable products that still does the job for you.

In this post, I will be showcasing to you guys of my top picks for hair and skincare by the Dove range and also provide you with a review of my experiences of using these products. Some of these you may have tried but I will be curious to see what you guys think and whether it has worked for you too. So please feel free to pop a comment below with your thoughts on any of these products that I will mentioning.

On another note, I thought I'd highlight to you all of how important it is to ensure that we regularly use good products that effectively work for our hair and skin. There are tonnes of brands out there and to scale it down brand by brand, I've dedicated this post to just my top picks from the Dove range so I really hope that you enjoy this read.

Featuring my top picks by the Dove range - haircare and skincare.

  •  #1 - DOVE NOURISHING BODY WASH - IN AQUA MOISTURE + PURELY PAMPERING - RRP $6.99 (375ml) - Searching for the perfect body wash can be as easy as scoping out your nearest supermarket and chemist store. Dove's nourishing body washes smell amazing and they leave the skin feeling smooth and soft.
  • Dove Aqua Moisture Body wash is infused with NutriumMoisture which helps to deeply moisture the skin by leaving it feeling light, fresh and soft all at the same time. The body wash can last you for about 1-2 months depending on how much you use. The texture of the body wash is creamy and is in liquid form which makes it lather up so well when mixed with water. So if you are in the market for a body wash that will deeply nourish your skin, check out this particular range.
  • Dove Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla Body wash is infused with NutriumMoisture and shea butter. You get a cream, cloudy lather once used in the shower and this particular wash will leave your skin feeling restored, balanced and moisturised. This body wash also feels luxurious on the skin making your shower experience feel relaxing. At $6.99 a bottle, you simply cannot go wrong with the price because it's affordable and most importantly, it helps to cleanse and moisturise your skin which is essential with the season becoming slightly cooler now.

  • #2 - DOVE ORIGINAL ANTIPERSPIRANT DEODORANT (250ML) - RRP $7.29 - This particular antiperspirant deodorant contains 0% alcohol and also includes Vitamin E and F plus 1/4 of moisturising cream which all combine to provide an effective protection for your underarms by leaving it feeling smooth and silky all day long. This spray also helps to reduce further skin irritation from shaving and gives a 48 hour protection to your skin. I have found that my underarms have remained moisturised, soft and definitely protected. This is the only brand of antiperspirant that I use and trust which is why this product has definitely been one of my favourites to use on a daily basis.
  • #3 - DOVE SUMMER GLOW GRADUAL SELF TAN BODY LOTION (FAIR TO MEDIUM SKIN) (400ML) - RRP - $7.34 - I have been using this body lotion for a while now only because I like how it subtly tans your skin with a tinge of light tan to it. It enhances your skin even more by making it appear more healthier looking, plus your skin remains moisturised. And if you are located in an area where it's slightly cooler and cannot really go to the beach to get a natural tan, then you can alternatively opt for the Summer Glow Gradual Self Tan Body Lotion by the Dove range. It doesn't even leave a yellowish tone, but instead gives a really nice, natural tan to your skin. With regular use, you can ideally look to achieve a sexy but subtle summer glow for your skin that looks very natural. The product also now contains 50% more active moisturiser and SPF15+ so that you get that little sun protection too.

  • DOVE - HAIR THERAPY, NUTRITIVE SOLUTIONS, NOURISHING OIL CARE (SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER, FOR DRY HAIR) (320ML) - RRP $6.89 EACH - I was super curious to try out Dove's hair care range and so when I saw their Nutritive Solutions, Nourishing Oil Care, I was excited to put it to the test with my hair. This range is for those who have dry hair and are in need of a shampoo and conditioner that can potentially help to get it back to its nourishing state, smooth any frizzy bits and tame those split ends. To my surprise, this range makes my hair feel super soft which is good because if you have dry/rough looking hair, then this product will be ideal for you. The shampoo leaves a nice and fresh botanical smell which is quite pleasant. The product foams up well and doesn't leave any thick residue behind or so. The consistency of the product is lightweight which is good and also makes it easier for you to work it onto your hair without any issues. Overall, my hair has seriously been loving both the shampoo and conditioner which have been highly nourishing for my hair which is a positive thing to consider when shopping for types of haircare products that can help to bring back the nourishment to it.
Have you tried out any of the above Dove selections as yet?

Happy reading!
