When it comes to looking after our skin, we need to be aware that time works wonders, especially when you're specifically looking to rejuvenate your skin. It's really a matter of time to achieve healthier and younger looking skin and that's why I looked to try the Elucent Anti-Ageing range to see what it could for my skin.

Elucent believes that when it comes to taking care of your skin, it doesn't really have to be that complicated. That's why they have specifically produced products to specifically cater for that "simplicity" for a new skincare routine, that way you can look to achieve beautiful, looking skin in just a matter of time.

And did you know Elucent have recently reformulated their Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser that comes with SPF 50+ (previously it was known for the SPF 30+ protection) but now the protection is even higher and better which is really great news for us. It also now includes lactic acid in addition to glycolic acid and is now available at Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist.

My take on the Elucent Anti Ageing Day Moisturiser SPF 50+

It's basically a triple action moisturiser that you would apply onto your skin in the morning and what it looks to do for your skin is that it helps reduce the signs of ageing by visibly reducing wrinkles and also helps to maintain skin hydration whilst improving your skin's texture and tone. If you are on the lookout for a day time moisturiser that could potentially protect your skin from premature skin ageing, then definitely opt for the Anti Ageing Moisturiser in SPF 50+

And what makes the product unique is that it uses a combo of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) which is what essentially helps to improve your skin tone and firmness. Fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced which means that you'll get healthier looking skin. The Vitamins B3 and E work together to boost your skin's elasticity, leaving your skin looking much firm, brighter and supple. Vitamin E is actually an antioxidant which helps with the anti-ageing benefits. For example, it looks to soften the skin and boosts the elasticity to your skin therefore making it feel more firm and tighter. Another fact with having Vitamin E is that it's very useful in helping to protect skin cells from the damaging effects of UV free radicals. Then, we have Vitamin B3 which is the main importance in helping to repair skin and maintain a barrier for our skin to look and improve the skin's texture and tone.

So when we thinking of anti ageing products, we instantly associate this with being a matter of ageing. Think again because it's never too late to prevent your skin from ageing and it's definitely always a good idea to start early. For the Elucent Anti Ageing range, it is suitable for anyone wishing to visibly rejuvenate and refresh their skin. Additionally, it's also made for those who want to fight against premature skin ageing - which is quite common in Australia as we are constantly under the strong UV rays.

The Elucent Day Moisturiser has been tested for all skin types to safely use and is non-comedogenic, hence it won't clog your pores.

  • 1. ELUCENT, GENTLE CLEANSER - RRP $29.99 (145ml) - Comes with 2% AHAs. This cleanser has been formulated with a blend of cleansers and moisturisers which really makes it a nice cleanser that looks to gently exfoliate and revitalises the skin in making it feel softer and supple once again. It doesn't leave the skin feeling dry which is something I quite like about this particular cleanser. The Vitamins B3 and E are essential in helping to leave your skin feeling more firm and toned.

  • 2. ELUCENT, DAY MOISTURISER SPF50+ - RRP $49.99 (95ml) - Comes with 4% AHAs. As previously mentioned this a high protective day moisturiser to use in the morning. It visibly reduces wrinkles with its 4% of AHAs. It also helps to maintain hydration for the skin by reducing any water loss, whilst improving skin tone and texture. Not only that, it's an effective protective moisturiser and sunscreen which offers a high SPF 50+ of sun protection to protect against the damaging sun effects that can cause wrinkles and fine lines in the long run.

  • 3. ELUCENT, NIGHT MOISTURISER - RRP $49.99 (50g) - Comes with a stronger 8% of AHAs. If you're wanting to find a good moisturiser to use at night and also offers a very luxurious experience in looking to rejuvenate and moisturise the skin very well, then definitely check out Elucent's Night Moisturiser to be used during the evening. The moisturiser combines vitamins B3, C and E which helps to reduce signs of ageing and additionally looks to improve your skin's tone and texture. It's a wonderful night cream to use at night because it really does a good job in revitalising your skin while you sleep.

  • 4. ELUCENT, EYE CREAM - RRP $49.99 (15g) - Comes with 4% of AHAs. I would use this eye cream every night to really look to improve the skin contours around my eyes. It's an effective eye cream to use at night as it has a very nice, hydrating texture to it which combined Vitamins B3, C and E that works to smooth out the fine lines and wrinkles, and even dark circles! I constantly get dark circles (as my job requires me to look at the computer screen for long periods, hence making my eyes feel super tired), therefore it's essential that I always use a good eye cream. And when I first tried out Elucent's eye cream, I already could visibly see improved results of less dark circles and eye bags making me super satisfied with this product.

  • 5. ELUCENT, SERUM - RRP $49.99 (30ml) - Comes with 16% AHAs which is probably one of the strongest of them all making it super effective to use. I love to use serums at night because I feel that they are more effective as it looks to work as we sleep. If you're after an intensive boost, check out Elucent's Anti-ageing Serum which includes a high level of AHA at 16%. The serum offers Vitamins B3, C and E which help to offer anti-ageing benefits to your skin, so for example - fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, dull looking skin - then you have to check out this product as it looks to visibly smooth them out. Your skin's tone and texture will be effectively improved - which means you get a more youthful and healthier skin appearance in the long-run with increased use.
