HELLO EVERYONE!

Shu Uemura looks to introduce KYE for their 2016 Spring artist collaboration. Kathleen Kye is Seoul's high-end street fashion designer who expresses real world designs that are inspired by today's Korean youth movements and energy.

Shu Uemura have recently launched their full range of 24 limited edition products that are inspired by Kye-beauty ranging from eyebrow products, beauty cleansing oils to even fresh cushion blushes.

One particular item that I looked to try out is their Fresh Cushion Blush by Shu Uemura and KYE. I've tried cushion foundations before but never as a blush product which was very interesting to know. We all know that cushion style products are so convenient to use and most importantly they give the best finish for the skin - almost as if it's natural looking. I am impressed that Shu Uemura have decided to release their first ever cushion cheek blush as the shade in Hibiscus Flower features a pale, light pink that looks gorgeous and very natural looking on the skin.

WHAT I LOVE

The packaging is insanely adorable and super playful. The Cushion Blush comes in a 7g sized compact, complete with a mirror and sponge applicator which means that it's so ideal for travelling and taking with you wherever you go. One thing I noted about the sponge applicator is that it's made to fit the cheek contour, so that means you can now apply the product on evenly and effortlessly. There's a less chance of over-doing the blush with a smaller sponge applicator.

WHY YOU WOULD LOVE THIS TOO

If you're wanting to try something more natural looking and of a different texture, the cushion blush looks to leave a natural and dewy finish to your cheeks. The pink isn't too dark which is great if you prefer a lighter blush shade. Additionally, if you happen to have dry cheeks, the cushion blush is definitely your best choice too as it won't dry out the skin as opposed to using a powdered blush where it can make your dryness even more obvious. So when it comes to a cushion blush, it's definitely an easy option to opt for.

HOW TO USE

So how I would apply the cushion blush right after applying foundation/concealer/make-up base on your face. Otherwise, you can also choose to apply the cushion blush right after you set your face with powder because then it would help to mattify the look of your face.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS
There are no harsh scents involved so it's definitely gentle and safe to use. The feeling I get when I do apply the cushion blush is that you get a nice and refreshing application which definitely makes your make-up application process feel comfortable and effective.
