Wanting to change up your Spring skincare routine? Try Thursday Plantation as they include at least 99% of naturally derived ingredients!

A good brand that I recently tried out is called Thursday Plantation and of which I have been really liking. You know it's time to update your skincare regime when it comes to the change in weather. So for this Spring, I've changed up it up several times to really see what different brands and products can do for my skin.

Much of the Thursday Plantation products have been formulated with nutritious plants, flowers and nut oils which help to restore the skin to its healthiest state. For more information, make sure you head over here to check more of Thursday Plantation's products out.

So to help me with a new skincare routine for Spring, I tried out from the Thursday Plantation range:
  • TP, Oil Cleanser Deep cleansing - RRP $17.95 (for 125ml)
  • TP, Almond Oil - RRP $14.95 (for 125ml)
  • TP, Face Moisturiser RRP $19.95 (for 70g)
And overall, these products did quite a decent job in exceeding my skin's expectations. I would say the above range is definitely most suited for all skin types, except for the Almond oil where that's mostly made for dry, rough and dull looking skin of the face and body. It's essential to ensure that your face gets a good cleanse on a daily basis, and that you ensure that your skin stays hydrated and glowing after the cleansing process. Step 1: Cleanse off your make-up

TP, Oil Cleanser, Deep Cleansing

This was my first time using an oil based type of cleanser where you simply dispense the liquid onto your hands and massage it onto your face...gently removing off make-up, dirt, oil and residue off your face. How the oil cleanser works is that it looks to dissolve make-up, excess oils and impurities on your skin which is an effective way to gently remove all of your make-up. Another benefit of using this oil cleanser as your make-up remover is that it can help to improve your skin condition. So far I am absolutely liking the benefits you can reap from using this amazing oil cleanser. The oil cleanser is designed to cleanse and purify the skin, tone and encourage skin rejuvenation and hydration of it too.

The oil cleanser also contains properties of Castor oil and Sunflower oil which all combine with Macadamia nut oil to be easily absorbed onto the skin which leads to an improvement in its strength and restoration (which is so important for Spring). Furthermore, the oil cleanser looks to tone the skin at the same time of removing your make-up.

And I couldn't finish off this product by saying that it contains 'Tea tree oil' which has powerful properties to ensure that your skin stays clear and that all bacteria and any build-up of oils is removed from the skin.

To use the oil cleanser, I would simply massage the oil into the face and then look to rinse it off (just like your normal face wash routine). But say if you were hoping for more of a deeper cleanse, then apply the oil into the face and stand in the hot shower (with a warm wash cloth over your face) so that your pores can open easily here. Make sure you rinse off with cold water and follow it through by using a reliable face moisturiser.

Step 2: Use an oil to soothe the skin and body, or gentle remove eye make-up.

TP, Almond oil - for the Face and Body
(For Dry, Rough & Dull skin)

So if your skin on your body is looking a tad dull or feeling rough and dry, then a good option is to invest in an Almond oil such as this one by Thursday Plantation, where it helps to soothe dry and flaky skin. It also helps to nourish chapped skin which is perfect as well if you're prepping for self-tan. The almond oil is so rich in oleic (Omega-9) and linoleic (Omega 6) which is so full of fatty acids that helps to soothes and soften dry and flaky skin. If you want to improve the appearance of skin tone, then the almond oil can help to give you glowing skin once again. The almond oil also looks to remove eye make-up which is a great tip to know because it makes an exceptionally amazing multi-use product for your bathroom cabinet. However if you have oily skin, this product won't be suited to you as it's more targeted to those who have dry or sensitive skin.

So far we know that it's an effective and gentle eye make-up remover and acts as a great soothing oil for dry and rough skin. Overall, I found this oil to help nourish, soothe and soften my skin which is what I need as my skin can get dry occasionally from time to time. For the price itself, it's absolutely affordable because for 125ml, that can last you a few months.

Step 3: Make sure to moisturise daily and nightly.

TP, Face Moisturiser

To be followed with the cleanser and oil, make sure you opt for a face moisturiser that can also help improve fine lines/wrinkles and dry skin - that way you can enjoy all of the benefits in the one product. There are not nasties included in this Face Moisturiser which is great and has been formulated with ingredients derived from nature making it a pleasant product to use on a day and night basis.

What I found from using this Face Moisturiser is that helps to nourish and hydrate the skin whilst tightening the skin at the same time. With continued use, you should expect skin to feel more plump and look much healthier.

Have you tried out the Thursday Plantation oil range as above yet?

What are your thoughts?
