Aloha Beauties,

Summer is already here but why isn't the weather complying as it should be?! Nevertheless, here are the top picks by Rimmel London to get Summer ready...

The top picks from Rimmel London for this Summer has to be their Magnif'Eyes Eyeshadow Palette and their SunShimmer Self-tan mousse. These drugstore products are super affordable and make the hottest essentials for this summer.

Starting off with their Magnif'Eyes Eyeshadow Palette in 003 Grunge Glamour (which I've swatched for you guys down below), features a mixture of eight matte and shimmery shades in the palette, included with a double ended eyeshadow applicator. There is also an integrated mirror in the palette which makes your life easier whenever you are travelling on the go. You're able to sculpt, shade and define your eyes to create either a day, night or even neutral look for work perhaps. The kit has been described as an 8-shade, all-in-one eyeshadow, liner and highlighter kit. You can seriously line your eyes, create a smokey eyed effect along with a neutral matte look that looks gorgeous on the eyes.

My impression of the eyeshadow palette is that there is little fall out, is super blendable and the powder is of an ultra-light and smooth texture. There no creases and fades from using this eyeshadow palette which is amazing and impressive for Rimmel London. There are two sets of the palette, one being 'Keep Calm and Wear Gold' and 'Grunge Glamour'. I've tested out Grunge Glamour and I have to say I might actually go out and purchase their Keep Calm and Wear Gold palette after testing out the quality on their Grunge Glamour palette.

For the Grunge Glamour palette, you can easily look to create sultry, smokey eyed-effect eyeshadow looks which are bold and fierce. Overall, I am very impressed with the colour range from this particular palette. All of the eight shades (from matte to shimmery tones) are all very wearable for myself and I could easily re-create so many looks with this palette. As I was swatching this palette, I could tell the shades were super blendable which means that you can easily blend more colours to create smoked eye effects and many more. The double ended eyeshadow brush applicator also feels soft when used to apply on my eye lids which is another bonus.

Ready, Set and Glow guys with Rimmel London's Sun Shimmer Self Tan Mousse. If you're too lazy to get a real tan in the backyard or at the beach, you can always go for the quick fix, AKA self-tanners. This is Rimmel London's first ever self-tanning mousse that gives you a super even and natural looking tan. It dries so fast that you won't have a chance to blink...just kidding. It dries in under 2 minutes and looks to develop within 1 hour. In terms of how long the tan lasts for...I would have to say 6-7 days for 1 application.

Firstly, the self-tanner mousse does not have that harsh self-tanning scent to it which is great. My legs were left feeling moisturised and hydrated which was good to note thanks to their oil enhancing formula. The mousse felt super lightweight and absorbed onto the skin quite easily and fast, leaving no streaks too. There are three shades available being: Light, Medium and Dark.

So if you're preparing for that summer, bronzed look for your legs, make sure you look to check Rimmel London's self-tanning mousse which worked amazingly well for me. It's so easy to use and I love how quick it dries, giving you more time to do the things you need to do!
