Hello Beauties,

Here's a new, organic make-up range that I looked to test out recently featuring World Organics - a New Zealand based company.

Last November, World Organics launched their organic make-up range consisting of primer, luminizer and their concealer which are all organic and safer to use in the longer term. My first impressions of their make-up is that their concealer and highlighter was incredibly pigmented and could offer that full spectrum for my overall skin complexion. The fact that they are pure organic make-up makes it feel lighter on my skin and so much more comfortable to wear for during the day. World Organics is highly unique among the other make-up products I have tested so far as they are natural, safe and have been sourced from many botanical ingredients.

Their product packaging is also another adorable key factor to consider as it really lives up to its "organic" look - featuring wooden caps which add a touch of nature to it. I looked to test out three different make-up products from the World Organics range including their Primer (which has been made with 78.15% of organic ingredients), Cream Concealer (made with 23.31% organic ingredients) and Luminizer (made with 73.8% organic ingredients).

Overall, I was highly impressed with World Organics as their cream concealers were super pigmented and covered my dark circles well, along with minor blemishes. Their primer definitely left my overall complexion feeling well hydrated and I saw less shine to my forehead which is always ideal. And finally...their Luminizer is seriously to die for as it offers that perfect "highlighter" glow for your cheeks or below your brow bone.

If you're looking to purchase the World Organics products, make sure you head over here to check them out via their official website.

I'll provide the full review for the products I've tested below so I hope you enjoy the read!

Certified organic make up products is safer and more gentle on your skin.

Featuring the Purely Primer by World Organics in Lunar - RRP $55

The organic primer is made with at least 78.15% of organic ingredients which is very lightweight and is full of much needed antioxidants which has been enriched in Aloe Vera and other botanical extracts. I felt that this primer worked well to provide a nice hydration for my skin (before makeup application) and left it feeling smooth so that my makeup could go on "better". I also noticed that by having this primer as my make-up base, that there was less shine to my forehead which is ideal because some primers out there can sometimes make it appear oily which isn't pleasant. The primer also comes with illuminating pearls and Amla and Pomegranate extracts which is essentially the much needed antioxidants. Furthermore, the Primer helps to promote collagen and leave your skin feeling much firm as it contains an extract of Amla. The primer comes in a rich form which means that it's easy to blend out so that your make-up application goes on really effectively such as your concealer and foundations. Ideally, you can wear the primer as a base before applying your make-up or you can wear it alone.

  •  Luminizer - in Lunar - RRP $28 - If you're after an organic luminizer or highlighter you'll find this cream highlighter easily blendable and super pigmented. The highlighter is very buildable so just make sure you don't apply too much in the one go. It leaves a sheer look on your cheekbones and makes you glow from the rest of the crowd. It feels very hydrating and not even dry which was good to know. It allows you to achieve that angelic and radiant glow for your face if you were after that particular look. Not only can you use the Luminizer on your cheeks, but you can be creative and look to incorporate this onto your eyelids, down the bridge of your nose, inner corner of the eyes or even above the cupid's bow on the lips, etc. I love this "highlighter" as it's cream based which makes it easier for me to blend away!
  • Cream Concealers - In Rose Sand and Sculpt - (two different contrasting shades) - RRP $35 - The shade in Sculpt is a little too dark to conceal my dark circles and blemishes which is why I'm using this as a contour cream base which is great if you are wanting to create some sort of dimension for the face. (Contouring is key!) Then, we have the shade in Rose Sand which is the perfect concealer for my skin as it blends in so well, especially with concealing my under dark circles and blemishes. This shade is definitely a favourite and one I have been conveniently reaching for everyday. The ingredients have been formulated so that you can look to achieve a healthier glow to your skin and where it feels extremely hydrating for a cream based concealer.
  • In terms of coverage, I'd give it the full star rating as it perfectly blended and covered up my blemishes and dark circles amazingly well. It does not leave my skin feeling dry which is another factor to consider because if anything, it looks to provide a hydration feel to your skin, leaving you with a radiant glow. The organic ingredients included in this cream concealer is Pomegranate and Seabuckthorn extracts which boosts the concealer's effectiveness by protecting and nourishing the skin all at the same time. When it comes to applying on the cream concealer, remember to use a sponge or clean fingers to blend the cream concealer through. If you are using a sponge, remember to use dabbing motions. Also, when it comes to cream concealers, since I have oily skin during the day, I tend to go over the concealer areas with a mineral based foundation or powder.
