 Hello everyone,

I am always open to trying something new especially when it's Australian made and owned. So one day I decided to try out new skincare products by Harvest Garden for myself to see what it could do.

Harvest Garden is a local, family owned business in Central Coast, NSW. They stock a range of skincare products for the face, body and bath essentials. I looked to trial a few products from the range including their Coffee Body Scrub (with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla) and their French Green Clay Facial Masque (with matcha green tea and aloe vera).

Here are my thoughts below for the above mentioned products that you may be interested in:
  • Coffee Body scrub with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla - RRP $25 - The coffee scrub comes in a resealable packet that's ideal for the shower as you can simply snap and lock the packet when not in use. I would describe this coffee body scrub as sweet and spicy because of the vanilla and cinnamon. It's also packed with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which all help to firm and tighten your skin all at the same time. Furthermore, with the help of the brown sugar acting as the buffer, it helps to rid any dead skin cells on your skin where it leaves your skin feeling fresher and smoother. I love the idea of coffee body scrubs because they're effective for reducing the appearance of cellulite and helps with the blood circulation on your skin. What makes this particular body scrub different from other brands out there is the unique combination scent of the vanilla and cinnamon. The spicy scent really leaves a kick for your skin and gives you a refreshingly amazing experience in the shower as you look to exfoliate.

  • French Green Clay Facial masque with matcha green tea and aloe vera - RRP $30 - The green clay facial masque product is presented in a gorgeous glass bottle. To use, I would simply mix one teaspoon into warm water and then look to mix it up in a small ceramic bowl. Next, I'd use the facial brush and apply it onto clean skin of my face, making sure that I avoid under the eye areas. Next, I'd leave the mask on for about 10 minutes or when I feel that the mask has completely become hard. You can then look to remove the mask with a face washer and warm water. Otherwise, using your hands is also fine. The bottle is perfect for about 4 months use and so look to incorporate this facial masque in your skincare routine every week or so.
As for the different uses of this facial masque, there are many options such as:
  •  If you're looking to target acne, you can use this as a spot treatment with raw honey.
  •  If you have dry skin, just use some honey into the mix,
  •  And if you fancy a scrub, add some raw sugar into the mix,

So you may be wondering why a facial green clay mask? After using this mask on a weekly basis, I can see that my facial complexion has tightened up a little such as the pores on my nose and cheek areas - where they show the most effective results. Harvest Garden also use olive green clay in their mix which is the strongest of all clays enabling you to achieve an effective detoxification result. Over time, using the clay more often will look to improve and repair your facial scars and also strengthen your skin's texture and elasticity as a result.

Overall, there are a selection of products that have worked for my skin from the Harvest Garden range. The Facial Green Clay mask with matcha tea and aloe vera is a good option if you're looking to firm and tone your skin with a facial masque. As for their coffee body scrub it smells quite sweet and refreshing which leaves the skin feeling softer and invigorating.
