Happy Friday everyone!

Essence have recently launched their new Winter Glow range in Target and pharmacies across Australia. In March and April 2017, it's all about playing with the contrast shades. Look to perfect the ideal Winter Wonderland look with their new cushion powder lipsticks and blush....

I am loving the subtle pink tones as well as the darker maroon tones which both complement each other. The new Winter Glow range by Essence is truly exciting as we start to see more cushion beauty products come out into the beauty market. Some of my favourite products so far has to be their Intensive Care Hand Butter which contains shea butter, coconut oil and almond oil - and combine them all, they really make a beautifully scented hand cream that is so luscious.

Essence Winter Glow Intensive Care Hand Butter - RRP $5.10

This intensive hand butter will come so handy for winter so make sure that you moisturise your hands every few hours. I find that when I do neglect my hand creams, my hands become so dry and flaky which is why you should have it near your desk or in your pouch. This hand butter by Essence in particular smells amazingly wonderful of cotton milk and it feels nourishing on the skin. It has a silky soft texture which absorbs fast on the skin and it makes your hands feel so soft and supple after application.

Essence Winter Glow - Cushion powder blush - RRP $7.15

This powder blush comes with a handy mirror on the top which makes it perfect for applying blush on the go. It has a silky texture which makes it easy to blend on your cheeks for that natural "blush" look. There is a hint of shimmering particles in the blush which leaves you with a pretty rosy glow. The shade pictured is in 01 sunrose.

Essence Winter Glow - eyeshadow applicator - RRP $2.65

This eyeshadow applicator is perfect for applying on loose or pressed eyeshadows. I find that this brush is perfect if you want to finish your eyeshadow look with a loose eyeshadow colour since the tip is in the form of a sponge applicator, making blending much easier for you.

Essence Winter Glow - Cushion Powder Lipsticks - RRP $5.75

These cushion lipstick feature a cushion style tip for the applicator - so that you get the most precise and long-lasting application for your lips. These shades come in either 01 Melt my lips or 02 Winter Kissed and the finish is of a matte look. They don't even make my lips feel dry which is awesome and they give of a subtle look for your lips if you're after that bare minimum look.

Tried & tested

I have swatched the Cushion Powder Lipstick and Cushion Powder Blush.

Shades - Top - 01 Melt my Lips (cushion lipstick)
Middle - 02 Winter Kissed (cushion lipstick)
Bottom - 01 Sunrose (cushion blush)
