[FASHION INSPO - AUTUMN/WINTER 17 - GETTING MY BERTY TUNIC ON IN BURGUNDY BLOCK PRINT - PERFECT FOR WEEKEND WEAR]

Hello guys

Make the the tunic trend the next basic-stock up for your fashion wardrobe.

I am wearing the Berty Tunic in Burgundy Block print by Boom Shankar as pictured above. It features a 100% cotton dobi/corduroy short pinafore with a side zip, front pockets and an adjustable strap detail. The best thing about this outfit is that it's also reversible which means that you can change up your looks quite often. I felt that this tunic was so practical to wear as the pockets definitely come in handy to store your keys, mobile phone and other smaller items. The burgundy colour definitely looks gorgeous and it definitely stands out no matter what you pair it with.

There are so many ways to wear the tunic and why not look to accessorise it with some of your favourite basic essentials. I went for a basic and comfortable look - paired with some comfortable sneakers and a white t-shirt which is so perfect for the weekends. I love the basic look with the tunic because you can easily look to mix and match colours, jackets, hats, scarves and so much more.

Another option is looking to pair the tunic with 'jeggings' underneath or even a crop top (if you're looking to show some skin which makes it super cute to rock during summer. You'll get so many uses from the 'Berty Tunic' as it's so easy to wear and to simply throw on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

BOOM SHANKAR is known for including a splash of colour and personality that is quirky and ageless. Their Autumn/Winter 17' range looks to embrace all things retro with bursts of colour. It's definitely inspired by 70s style shapes and lines with a return of corduroy. Most of the colour palette is definitely warm toned which is evident throughout their range. The collections are designed in Australia and ethically produced in India.

THEIR INITIATIVE
If you didn't know, Boom Shankar also supports charity projects in both Australia and India such as their 'Forget Me Not'. Boom Shankar donates $5 from the sale of their items to the Forget Me Not Australia, a charity that works in Nepal, Uganda, and India to rescue trafficked children from the orphanage trade and reunite them with their families.
