Hello everyone,

Just last week I got the opportunity to experience a lovely facial spa at spaQ in Sydney thanks to Uspa. Read more below...

Thanks to Uspa, I was able to experience a spa facial at spaQ in Sydney which is this gorgeous hotel located near Pitt Street. Uspa looked to unveil their evolved and refreshed branding as they have been in the industry for over nearly 20 years.

I discovered that Uspa is dedicated to pure, clean skincare that utilises the best of nature through science. The brand was established in 1995 in Melbourne and their aim was to create a brand that offered a holistic spa experience where you could simply feel rejuvenated and restored after using their products.

The natural blends in each product is what looks to promote health, vitality and radiance back to your skin. I noticed that among the ingredients were active botanicals and pure essential oils which is ideal for creating that beautiful aroma and experience with the products. Furthermore, the brand is also inspired by its Australian roots so Uspa have incorporated the native ingredients - Lilly Pilly, Caviar Lime and Kakadu Plum to some of their highlighted products. Apparently...these native ingredients are effective for anti-ageing so that's a plus to consider about the Uspa range.

Most importantly, the Uspa products are free from any sulphates, parabens, mineral oils, synthetic colours and fragrances. It's 100% Australian made and is cruelty free. The idea of Uspa is to encourage customers like myself to learn from the spa experience and essentially make it a ritual at home. This is perfect for winding down on a Friday night and lighting a few candles perhaps?

A little about spaQ...
Taking a look back at my experiences at spaQ, I must say that I was incredibly impressed with the Uspa products, customer service and overall experience of getting a spa facial. It's located in the heart of central CBD making it convenient for busy people on the go and in need of a pick-me-up experience. There are six treatment rooms, a men's Barbershop, a Hammam inspired steam room as well as a relaxation lounge and spa boutique.

As you can see my skin type leans more on the oily to combination side and these products as recommended are supposed to help clear and rejuvenate my skin. (As recommended by the lovely Gemma who was my Spa consultant for that time).

I've been trialling out a few of the selected products from the Uspa range to really 'make it a ritual at home' and so far I am amazed with the quality and experience I've had with them.

Check out the below to see what I've been incorporating into my daily skincare routine for the past week...

Deep Cleansing Mud Mask, Mistletoe & Fennel Extracts, RRP $50

This deep cleansing mud mask is safe to be used for once or twice a week and so this is ideal for me as I do find my skin becoming oily and shiny during the day. Having an effective and deep cleansing mask that can help to remove excess oils and impurities from my skin is something that I look to achieve within my skincare routine. The deep cleansing mask features Bentonite and Kaolin Clays which works to draw out any impurities from the pores and without that drying feeling on the skin. After using this mask, my skin felt so fresh and radiant. It helps to control any excess level of sebum on the skin and is so good for those with acne. I found that my skin complexion has cleared up immensely after using this deep cleansing mask as well as feeling softer and more supple.

Purifying Elixir with Juniper Berry, RRP $60

If you're looking to treat your skin after cleansing your face, then you're going to need an uplifting blend such as the Purifying Elixir which contains Juniper Berry, Bergamot, Lime and Peppermint essential oils. It leaves the skin feeling refreshed the next day and what's better is that the elixir easily absorbs onto the skin leaving your skin feeling so refreshed afterwards. As my skin is a mix between oily and combination, the elixir is perfect in looking to balance out the moisture in your skin as well as leaving it feeling soothed and calmed. The elixir is also high in many amazing oils being sweet almond oil, rosehip oil and carrot seed oil which all help to bring life to dull and congested looking skin. So far, I have been using this every night and I can that my skin looks much clearer and healthier looking.

Rejuvenating Micro-Exfoliant, Gotu Kola & Orange, RRP $45

If you're looking for an exfoliant that works gently on the skin and does not irritate the skin, then you need to check the Rejuvenating Micro-exfoliant out! It's incredibly lightweight and looks to restore clarity and freshness back to your skin. It's perfect for Winter coming because we're all going to experience dry, dull and flaky skin - so the micro-exfoliant is perfect in looking to rid dead skin cells leaving your skin feeling smoother, softer and luminous. It also helps to keep your pores clean from any excess dirt and oil - and even safe to be used on a daily basis.

Cocoa Seed & Coconut, Rich Body Butter, RRP $40

This rich body butter is perfect for the chilly weather and what's better is that it smells beautiful of cocoa seed and coconut. This cream is made for all skin types to use and you can really smell the hint of vanilla which helps to stimulate your senses. I seriously cannot get enough of this body butter because it's so enriching and moisturising on the skin. And the plus side is that it smells so addictive and a great de-stressing product that uplifts your mood.

Soothing Hydro-Mist, Rose & Gotu Kola, RRP $40

A facial mist is a must for stressed and tired looking skin. As I am constantly in the office and exposed to the air-conditioner or heater, my skin's hydration would instantly go haywire. I have been trying on this facial mist every hour by spritzing it onto my face and it really does feel soothing and rejuvenating. It contains rose water which helps to tone, hydrate and balance your skin, whilst the Gotu Kola looks to soothe any irritations and redness. So overall it's a very gentle rose mist for everyday. You can even look to set your make-up with this face mist as it can help our skin to feel super fresh.

All of the products as mentioned in this post by Uspa can be purchased via their official website here

As I arrived to Uspa at spaQ in Sydney, I am greeted with a selection of skincare and beauty products which is all exciting!

This is their relaxation lounge at SpaQ, it just puts you in spa mood instantly.

Appreciating the interior aesthetics of spaQ's treatment rooms which have been preserved from when it used to be a barbershop back in the days. Simply beautiful....

What are your thoughts on the Uspa range?

Have you tried any of these?
