Hello beauties,

Elizabeth Arden recently released their anti-aging foundation which stems from their Prevage skincare line offering luxury anti-aging skincare products.

Earlier this year, I had the Prevage Anti-aging foundation by Elizabeth Arden colour matched specially for my skin at one of their beautiful events. My skin shade is in 02 which is more on the warmer beige side and it suits my skin very well. Before looking to purchase your foundation, I would highly recommend for you to get a colour match first. Also I tried out their new Dual End Contoured Foundation Brush which helps you to apply on your foundation very flawlessly and smoothly. I'll share more of what I thought later throughout this post.

All of the Elizabeth Arden products are made available at your nearest Myer or David Jones if you're located in Australia. For more information, you can hit up http://www.elizabetharden.com.au/

I hope you enjoy the read beauties! x

Elizabeth Arden, PREVAGE Anti-aging SPF 30 PA++ - RRP $85.00

I love how this particular foundation looks to offers a SPF 30 protection against UVA and UVB rays as well as fight the signs of ageing for your skin. It's not just a foundation, but it looks to even out your skin tone while looking to protect, repair and moisturise your skin at the same time. Sounds too good to be true right?

I was quite impressed with the overall formula of this Prevage Anti-aging foundation as it is very lightweight which is so perfect for everyday wear. This foundation is made for those with normal to dry skin and offers a light to medium coverage. There are also eight shades made available so there's a variety to choose from if you're picky with shades.

What makes this foundation one of a kind is that it has been infused with 'idebenone' a powerful antioxidant - and hydra-pigments which helps to instantly blur out any skin imperfections such as blemishes and it gives that radiant glow back to your skin. I found that by using this foundation, it didn't settle into my fine lines which is amazing. You don't want your foundation accentuating your fine lines.

The finish of this foundation makes your skin appear more glowing, radiant, smooth and more youthful looking. My skin tone definitely looked very natural and it's a great way to smooth out your skin's texture in the longer run. Yes...you heard that right. I felt that this foundation looked to improve my skin's texture and I am definitely impressed with what it can look to do for my skin. The foundation features antioxidants, green tea extracts, ferulic acid, carnosine and much more - which all help to protect your skin from free radicals. I wore this foundation on my skin for the whole day (from 9am-6pm) and I'm so relieved with its long staying power and how it leaves your skin looking so luminous. It didn't smudge or fade which was great to know. Although this foundation does not provide the fullest coverage, it looks to cover all of your imperfections and gives that blurred look effect - which is good enough for me. Plus, it doesn't feel like you have a lot of product caked on which is essential when you're wanting your skin to breathe a little...

Elizabeth Arden, Dual End Contoured Foundation Brush
- RRP $55.00

Before I tried the Dual End Contoured Foundation brush by Elizabeth Arden, little did I know that they offered a range of make-up brushes! This is a contoured brush which is made for the natural curves on your face. It allows for an even foundation application and is ideal for smaller areas around the nose and eyes. So for example if you're looking to conceal with precision, then this is the best brush to ensure that you can cover all bases around your face.

The bristles are made out of synthetic hair and feel very plush soft. I really like how the brush is made with dual end sides - so on one end you've got a heart shaped brush which is perfect for coverage - and then on the other end, you've got a concealing brush which is ideal for covering precise spots, etc. Another factor I'd like to point out is that the brush is made to a perfect length. This is ideal for when you're looking to apply your foundation up close to a mirror because then your brush won't be hitting it as it's not too long. So thank you Elizabeth Arden for thinking of that!

What did you guys think of the Elizabeth Arden products as mentioned above?
