[MY TOP BEAUTY + SKINCARE HACKS FOR WINTER WITH USING ISOCOL RUBBING ALCOHOL ANTISEPTIC + DERMAL THERAPY'S HEEL BALM AND LIP BALM]

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all having an amazing Mother's Day celebration! In this particular beauty hack post, I'll be showing the many beauty and skincare uses of Isocol, a rubbing alcohol antiseptic as well as Dermal's Heel Balm and Lip Balm..so perfect for Winter coming up.

We all want to know the beauty and skincare hacks because there are so many alternative ways that you may not even know about. I've been using Isocol's Rubbing Alcohol Antiseptic for years now and these tips that I'm about to share with you guys have truly worked for me. I also checked out Dermal's Heel Balm in Platinum as well as their Ultra Moisturising 1 Day Lip Balm, which are all essential for this Winter. My heels tend to get dry and cracked and this is caused by many factors such as the weather or even the shoes that I wear on a day to day basis. Also, my lips have been feeling slightly dry and chapped lately - which is why I decided to give their 1 Day Lip Balm a go and see whether it would work for me or not.

All of these products as mentioned in this post are easily available at leading supermarkets and pharmacies.

So let's get straight to my Top Beauty and Skincare hacks.

Hope you enjoy x

Hack #1 - If you suffer from dry/cracked heels, try the Heel Balm Platinum by Dermal Therapy, RRP $13.95

The Heel Balm Platinum by Dermal Therapy is a very concentrated and moisturising heel balm that is not greasy and has been formulated with at least 30% of Urea. I always get dry and cracked heels which is why I took an interest in looking to try out the Heel Balm and see whether it would it work for me. The fact that it's a highly concentrated heel balm really makes it work really well. After just one day of applying the heel balm on, my heels felt smoother and softer. I honestly felt that this product worked for my dry heels and the texture comes out as a thick consistency - which means a little surely goes a long way. The scent is not too overpowering and if anything it's bearable. I have been using this heel balm onto my heels whenever I feel that they're looking dry and cracked. It is now my go to product as it provides a faster and more effective healing and regeneration for dry and cracked skin.

HACK #2 - For severely dry and chapped lips, try Dermal Therapy's 1 Day Ultra Moisturising Lip Balm, RRP $4.95

If you're after a very concentrated lip balm that contains a blend of ingredients designed to hydrate and soften severely dry and chapped lips, the you need to try the Lip Balm for Dermal Therapy. I found the formula to be very fast acting and results showed within one day of testing this lip balm out. It's incredibly moisturising and when applied onto the lips, it basically turns into a cream. You get a tingly sensation which feels good leaving your lips feeling smoother and softer. I tend to get dry lips every morning so having this lip balm in my handbag is ideal. The scent of the lip balm almost reminds me of sweet cakes which is great because it's not too overpowering on the lips. Honestly, I've been depending on this lip balm for a few weeks now and I am already loving it. I also know that I will be using this religiously throughout Winter.

HACK #3 - ISOCOL Rubbing Alcohol Antiseptic Lotion for your beauty and skincare needs,
RRP $11.69

I absolutely love using the Isocol Rubbing Alcohol for many beauty and skincare uses. It is an effective antiseptic, cleanser and freshener all in the one bottle. It's classified as a multipurpose product and you can even look to incorporate it within your everyday cleaning. The key ingredient includes Isopropyl Alcohol which is an antiseptic that evaporates quickly, leaving a subtle and tingling feeling on the skin. It works to kill germs - whether it be on your skin or make-up brushes. There two sizes made available - the 75ml which comes in the form of a handy spray bottle and 345ml which is perfect for everyday uses.

My Isocol Beauty & Skincare Hacks include:

  • It helps to prevent pimples and acne - The alcohol helps to dry oily skin and in effect preventing further blemishes from forming on the skin. I would use Isocol as a blemish spot treatment on my skin by dabbing and rubbing it onto the acne prone areas. I would do this twice a day for more effective results. Note: If you feel excessive drying on the skin, please do discontinue using Isocol.
  • It can be used as an antiseptic for bites, etc. - It's great as an antiseptic on bites as it looks to stop the bites from getting infected.
  • It can be used to disinfect and clean your make-up brushes - As it contains alcohol, it's a great ingredient in helping to disinfect and kill the germs that live in your make-up brushes. I've been using Isocol to clean my make-up brushes and they smell so fresh right after. So I would start by pouring a small amount of Isocol onto a paper towel, then I would look to rub the make-up brushes into the Isocol until the brushes look clean. Next, I would place all of the clean make-up brushes flat on a clean paper towel and allow them to dry overnight. It's a quick way to clean all of your make-up brushes if you've got too many!
  • Restore broken powdered make-up - Isocol comes handy when you find that your powders are broken. Simply pour some Isocol into the broken powdered make-up, and look to shape it up by using a butter knife or so. Then, look to leave it aside to dry overnight. This hack truly works and if you ever yourself with a broken compact powder, you'll know what to use!

Isocol is perfect for cleaning your make-up brushes as it looks to kill germs and bacteria.

Do you have broken eyeshadows, powders and not sure what to do? Then all you need to do is look to pour some of the Isocol rubbing alcohol onto the crumbled powder and look to shape it up with a butter knife. And leave it to dry for the next day.

Fixing broken make-up is now made easier thanks to Isocol.
