Hello beauties,

Since baby skincare products are super gentle, why not test it out on normal skin? Curious to find out more, check out my thoughts from the Mustela range below...

Mustela offers a range of baby skincare products for those with normal, dry and atopic-prone skin. It's a brand from the French Laboratories Expanscient which offers safe and innovative products that help to soothe and preserve fragile looking skin. It's a very gentle range for everyone to use, but it's mainly made for babies, infants, children as well as expecting mothers to be.

But should you have dry skin, eczema and are wanting to try out something new, there's nothing stopping you from trying it out. Anything is possible and when it comes to baby products as you know that the products will be very gentle for your skin. The products are priced between $7.95 and $34.95 which is quite affordable, plus all of their products don't contain any parabens or phthalates.

Recently I tried out a few selections from Mustela's Normal Skin range which includes of the below:
  • Gentle Cleansing Gel and the (2 in 1 Gentle Cleansing Gel Travel size) - This is a daily cleanser which comes in a gel form and is made to really cleanse the hair and body in a very gentle way. I found this to be nowhere as near drying and it's great as your overall everyday gentle cleanser. It's a very nourishing cleansing gel which leaves you feeling super refreshed right after showering. I would use this more for the body than the hair, only because my hair requires a little conditioner from time to time. It comes in a pump sized bottle which makes your life easier in the shower. Simply pump to dispense the cleansing gel for daily use. The cleansing gel also comes in 200ml which is perfect for your travels. I find this to be very convenient because sometimes the products provided in the hotels can be quite drying, so it's always safe to bring the products which work well for your skin.
  • Multi-Sensory Bubble Bath - This is another gentle bubble bath product which works to clean stimulate the senses. It foams up really nicely in the bath and I felt that it smelt wonderful and refreshing. It's definitely great for the kids as it will help to stimulate their senses.
  • Body Lotion and Facial cream - Provided that it's incredibly so drying this winter, the body lotion and facial cream compliment each other well because it keeps your skin well moisturised and hydrated. It even looks to strengthen your skin's moisture barrier as it contains 'Avocado Perseose' - which is perfect for winter. I've been using the facial cream underneath my make-up because of hydrating it has been leaving my skin feeling. As for the body lotion, I have been using this all over my body (including the knees, legs and elbows) and already it's helping to alleviate any signs of dryness on my skin. You'll smell like a baby after application!

Overall, I actually quite enjoyed trying the Mustela range. As it's made for normal and baby skin, their products work to a great degree in looking to moisturise and hydrate super dry or eczema prone skin. The only thing I found with trying out baby products in general is the "baby scent" itself. I don't mind this as it's refreshing and not too overpowering but it all depends on what fragrances you're comfortable with.

Have you tried out the Mustela range before?
