Hello beauties,

Shu Uemura recently celebrated their 50 years of magic with its iconic Cleansing Oils which is known for its easy one-step deep cleansing that leaves your skin feeling soft and non-greasy thanks to its emulsification technology. Also, shu uemura and AMBUSH have joined forces - a Tokyo based jewellery designer to bring you an edgier gold look with their packaging. More below...

For this season, we see shu uemura strike gold with the Limited Edition Tokyo cult design sensation AMBUSH for Spring/Summer 2017. AMBUSH are a Tokyo-based jewellery brand launched by jewellery designer YOON and DJ Verbal. The golden look for the packaging are inspired by innovative POP ART from the Tokyo district.

I'm amazed with shu uemura's latest design of their AMBUSH make-up and skincare range where it just looks very edgy, luxe and features a luxurious, metallic golden look for the packaging. The AMBUSH x Shu Uemura collection which is now available online and in-stores.

Ultime8 - Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil,
RRP $68

Hands down...this is by far the best cleansing oil I've tried to date. It's infused with 8 amazing oils and is classified as shu uemura's latest limited edition from their Spring and Summer 2017 collection. The cleansing oil definitely left my skin feeling smoother and nourished which is definitely ideal for winter. It helps to literally remove all of your make-up with ease and effectively well. There's no tugging needed and it's easy as massaging the cleansing oil over your makeup to really dissolve all of the dirt, oil and impurities on your skin's surface. It really looks to leave your skin feeling beautiful and supple which is why I love this cleansing oil so much. It doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy which is incredible for a cleansing oil. My skin complexion has definitely improved ever since I've started to use this cleansing oil and it's my new found secret in looking to achieve smoother and healthier looking skin in the longer run.

  • Ambush collection - Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte/Sheer Shine - RRP $45 (In shades Ambush Spirit & Ambush Life)

The new range of rouge unlimited lipsticks in either supreme matte or sheer shine are so easy to wear on the lips. They come in pretty bright poppy shades which is quite popular among the Japan and Korea beauty market.  For the the supreme matte lipstick, it's so creamy that it doesn't look to dry the lips. However, as a rule of thumb, I always look to exfoliate my lips with a sugar scrub before looking to apply on matte lipsticks, as it just applies on better without leaving it looking flaky or dry. As for the sheer shine lipstick, it gives of a nice shine that looks and feels moisturised. It doesn't leave the lips looking flaky which is amazing. These lipsticks are definitely long-wearing and they stay put on the lips all night.

  • Ambush collection - Lasting Soft gel pencil, RRP $40

This is an easy to use soft gel eye pencil that comes in a sleek shape. It has a soft and buttery feel to it and lasts all day long which is great if you're seeking a product that won't smudge. Also, if you click this product too much, it's not retractable so be sure to know how much you need before making those further clicks. This is a great liner for everyday as it is easy to line the eyes with using this soft eye gel pencil. You can easily look to wing the ends and the best part of it all is that there is no smudging needed.
