MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE MICRODERMABRASION TREATMENT FOR ACNE PRONE & DRY SKIN AT THE AUSTRALIAN SKIN CLINICS EXPRESS, WETHERILL PARK.

Microdermabrasion is one of the gentlest, fastest and non-invasive anti-ageing treatments being offered at skin clinics. Recently, I checked into the Australian Skin Clinics Express at Wetherill Park to get a treatment.

If you suffer from dry skin, breakouts and acne, then you may consider a Microdermabrasion treatment. Furthermore, it looks to improve your skin's circulation, stimulate collagen renewal and helps to nourish. If you're wanting to maintain a healthy complexion that leaves your skin feeling softer and clearer, a microdermabrasion treatment could be the way to go.

Recently, I checked into the Australian Skin Clinics, Laser & Rejuvenation Express at Wetherill Park for a free skin consultation (approximately 15 minutes) which you can do as well by simply visiting www.ozskin.com.

Basically there are three packages for which you can select from being:
  • Shine ($63) - features an express cleanse, scrub and after care.
  • Diamond ($120) - features a cleanse, scrub, after care and peels (depending on your skin type).
  • High Performance ($160) - features a cleanse, scrub, after care, peels, steam, microdermabrasion, extractions and an eye massage.

How does microdermabrasion work?
Your skin will be deeply exfoliated using a diamond encrusted tip with added vacuum suction which looks to remove trapped dirt, debris and skin congestion. Next, a chemical peel is applied onto the skin where this helps other skincare products absorb better, boosting circulation and collagen production.

Essentially, this leaves your skin looking fresh, clean and brighter. If you suffer from acne and congested skin, I'd definitely recommend this skin treatment as it just looks to clear up your skin so well. As I have large pores, this treatment is perfect for helping to unclog and minimise my pores.

And with continued treatments of microdermabrasion, it can really look to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars depending on every skin type. Most importantly, as microdermabrasion looks to remove dead skin cells off the surface of your skin, this is ideal for aiding the penetration of your skincare products. It also allows your makeup to go on smoother which allows for a flawless complexion.

I had the pleasure of having Najwa (Laser/Derm Tech) at Australian Skin Clinics Express, Wetherill Park, work on my skin during the 45 minute High Performance Microdermabrasion procedure.

The team at Australian Skin Clinics, Wetherill Park are very professional and friendly which is always important when it comes to skincare services. They definitely take their time when it comes to treating your skin and there's no feeling of being rushed.

After my first treatment, I could definitely see my skin condition had improved which is great to know that it works. If you're looking for a really good service as well as improving your skin, I'd highly recommend the Australian Skin Clinics Express at Wetherill Park.

Featuring the Balense Skincare range which was used on my skin during the Microdermabrasion treatment. The skincare range has been developed for those with acne prone skin as it really helps to maintain your skin's pH levels leaving it looking clear.

Inside the room of where I had my Microdermbrasion treatment. It's an express clinic which means you'd simply pop in, get your facial done and go about with your daily errands.

Najwa using the Microdermabrasion device on my skin. It's non-invasive and so gentle on the skin. (Definitely no pain here) It's definitely great for sucking up all of the dead skin cells on your skin's surface, as well as encouraging circulation and collagen production.

After the microdermabrasion treatment, my skin looked a little red which is totally normal as it goes away in a couple of hours. I'm so impressed with the first treatment as my skin looked smoother and clearer.

It's such a great way to treat your skin every month or so because you're essentially ridding any dead skin cells and allowing your skincare products to absorb better. It's definitely a cost effective and safe treatment as compared to laser and chemical treatments.
