Some new and exciting Lancome products that have hit beauty shelves includes of the below...

Advanced Genefique Yeux, Youth Activating Eye Mask, Lancome (RRP $79.00)

I tried out these Youth Activating Eye Masks by Lancome from their Advanced Genefique Yeux range that are essential when your eyes are feeling dull and tired. These come in a pack of 6 (with a set of 2 eye patches) which RRP $79. Simply pop on these eye masks, sit back and let the formula absorb into your skin. After about 10 minutes, you'll find that your eyes will look more refreshed, younger and illuminated.

Overall, I found that these eye patches assisted with improving the skin around my eye area. They really left my eyes looking refreshed and more youthful the very next morning. I tend to get dark circles and eye bags when I'm feeling tired, but after trying these eye masks out, the area under my eyes appeared more plump and hydrated which is amazing.

For application, I'd apply the eye masks on every weekend in order to illuminate the eye area and give it more of a youthful look.

Monsieur Big Mascara, Lancome, RRP $47

Over the past week, I've been reaching for the Monsieur Big Mascara by Lancome and so far I am totally a fan of it. The brush is reasonably sized which means it helps to leave you with voluminous and endless volume for the lashes. It comes with an ultra creamy formula which doesn't clump or flake which is essential. If you're after thick and long looking lashes, you'll no doubt be impressed with the Monsieur Big Mascara by Lancome. It's smudge-free which means you can literally wear this on the lashes all day without the need of touching up.

Genifique Yeux Youth Activating Eye Cream,
Lancome (RRP $105)

For an eye cream that looks to create youthful looking skin, I tried out Lancome's latest Youth Activating Eye Cream which has been specifically formulated for the delicate eye area. This gel-cream product feels very cooling and velvety soft on the skin.

So far I've found this eye cream to reduce my eye wrinkles, fine lines and texture. I have noticed an improved appearance around my eye areas especially with dark circles and eye puffiness. If you're looking for a product that really looks to smooth out the skin's texture around the eyes, I'd highly recommend the Youth Activating Eye Cream. Although it's more on the pricier end of things, it's no doubt a great skincare investment for the eye area.

Advanced Genifique Yeux Light Pearl, Youth Activating Concentrate, Lancome, RRP $115

Every morning I'd apply on the eye illuminating treatment which is designed to make the eye contour appear firmer, less tired and more youthful. As I've been applying this product on my eyes every day, I have noticed a reduced appearance in my eye puffiness and tiredness. It also has the added benefit of smoothing out fine lines with continued use over time. The applicator is a winner for me because it makes it so much easier and hygienic to use for everyday.

It uses a really lightweight formula which is ideal for an all day wear because you don't want your eye area to feel too heavy.

Bioderma recently launched their Hydrabio Gel Creme which offers amazing texture and hydration for the skin...

For the perfect amount of moisturisation for the skin, I looked to try out Bioderma's latest Hydrabio Gel-Creme which is suitable for those with normal, combination and sensitive skin. The Hydrabio Gel-Creme offers a nice and healthy radiant glow which feels very hydrating and soft. It is all thanks to the NEW physiological emulsion that boosts the active ingredients in the product itself. The Gel-Creme is non-comedogenic and paraben free which results in a light and fresh texture.

The overall texture of the gel-creme feels light, soft and velvety like. It feels nice and absorbs easily on the skin, so that it delivers all of the hydration that you need especially for dry skin. There's no sticky effect that comes from applying the Light Moisturising gel-creme which is amazing and much needed for the warmer weather.

Overall, I've been applying the Hydrabio Gel-Creme on my skin every morning and evening (after cleansing) to ensure that it stays hydrated and moisturised all day. Also, it's perfect to be used as a make-up base because the added amount of hydration looks to help you to achieve a flawless and fresh glow.

If you are suffering from dry, dull or dehydrated looking skin, then the Hydrabio Gel-Creme may be an option for you to consider. It somewhat acts just like a light moisturiser but comes in a gel-creme texture, making it easily absorbed and sticky-free for the skin.

Bioderma's Hydrabio Gel-Creme RRP $42.99 (40ml), and is available from Priceline, Adore Beauty, French Beauty Co and Pharmacies nationwide.

New Zealand's #1 skincare brand Essano has formulated a natural range made for those with problematic and young skin.

As I do suffer from problematic skin such as acne prone skin, I tend to stick with products that are not too drying and are made for oily skin. The Clear Complexion range by Essano is the perfect alternative to medicated acne solutions because it has been specifically formulated to aid with congested, polluted and oily skin. It's perfect for if you're after a range that helps to treat oiliness and breakouts.

What makes the Clear Complexion range so effective is that it contains Bio-D-Tox which comprises of Aloe Vera, Citrus BioF, Broccoli and Probiotics. All thanks the Bio-D-Tox, it has been clinically proven to control your sebum levels as well as improve your skin tone and moisture. If you're suffering from inflamed or sensitive skin, the Probiotics helps to balance your skin in the process. The Clear Complexion skincare products by Essano are now available at Priceline stores nationally and online.

The Clear Complexion range by Essano consists of the below:

Purifying Gel Cleanser, RRP 14.99

This cleanser is infused with Rosemary which leaves it smelling botanical and very natural. This is a soap-free cleansing gel that leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean. After using this cleanser, I felt that it did a great job in cleansing my skin from impurities, oil and dirt. It doesn't strip the skin which is essential if you suffer from oily and congested skin.

Blemish Gel, RRP $15.99

Their Blemish Gel works to reduce the appearance of redness and inflammation on your skin. Should you have any obvious spots/acne on your skin, simply dab some of the Blemish Gel onto the spot. The redness should subside and overtime, you can look to achieve clearer skin because it contains Salicylic Acid (essential in providing relief and a solution against breakouts). I literally had a spot on noticed less redness which is amazing.

Mist Toner, Certified Organic, RRP $12.99

This is a balancing mist which contains Witch Hazel as its main ingredient - essential for closing the pores. The mist provides a whole heap of hydration and nutrients to the skin where it looks to balance, purify and soothe the skin.

Detoxifying Serum, ECOCERT, RRP $30.99

This is very lightweight serum that really looks to hydrate the skin. If anything, I felt that by using this serum, it helped to leave my skin feeling more moisturised and smoother. Over time and with regular use, you can look to expect fewer breakouts with a controlled skincare regime. If you have dry flaky skin, the serum would be ideal in this context as it will help to revitalise your skin once again.

Bio-Oil has become of the most recommended product by Australian GPs and Pharmacists when it comes to the appearance of stretch marks, scars, uneven skin tone and dehydrated skin.

Quite often Bio-Oil is regarded as a popular product among many pregnant women, as it's formulated to help keep skin supple and moist, therefore reducing any further stretch marks from forming during pregnancy.

I decided to give Bio-Oil a go and look to massage this all over my stomach and legs (areas where I believe stretch marks would form) every morning and night. My purpose of using Bio-Oil is to prevent any further stretch marks from forming during pregnancy. So far it has been more than two weeks and I can definitely say that the appearance of my skin looks more toned and even. I am so happy with the results and I continue to use Bio-Oil twice a day to ensure that my skin remains supple and healthy looking.

Furthermore, I've seen a reduction of the appearance of stretch marks on my skin which is wonderful and I trust that it must be because of its ingredient, Purcellin Oil - which looks to reduce the thickness of formula and makes it absorb easily onto the skin.

There are definitely various products for stretch marks you can try that are available on the market, but having tried out Bio-Oil, I can highly recommend it for those looking to reduce the appearance of pregnancy stretch marks. Of course individual results vary for everyone so I suggest that you give it a go if you're curious to find out whether it works for your skin. (You won't know until you try)

For me personally, I'm definitely a huge fan of the product and would continue to use the product post-pregnancy as it also helps to even out the skin and keep it well hydrated and supple. I love the fact that it doesn't seep into my clothes after application and it absorbs really quickly onto the skin. Although it's classified as an oil, it doesn't feel too oily as you look to massage this into your skin.

Bio Oil is available on shelves in Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Coles, Woolworths and all major pharmacies.

Look to experience an idyllic oasis of tranquility with the latest floral musk scent by Tous...

Recently I tried a new fragrance by Tous (featuring the Les Colognes Concentrees), which combines a freshness of citric fruits, a woody musky scent as well as flowers to evoke a warm aurora. Tous strives for their products to evoke certain atmospheres and feelings.

The blend opens with top notes of peony, a tangy citrus scent which smells just like mandarin. There's heart notes of rose water and jasmine, followed by base notes of Sandalwood and Musk. The fragrance represents an invitation to take time for yourself to enjoy an oasis of peace, without worry or stress.

This is a beautiful scent if you happen to enjoy the essence of Floral Musk. As for its packaging, it looks super sleek and adorable with its minimalism theme. This scent simply lifts my mood and is so inviting for everyday, I literally have been wearing this on daily.

The Tous Les Colognes Concentrees is available at Priceline, RRP $45/100ml.

Which scent are you rocking for this spring?

As for their overall quality, I've found that their Shadow and Highlight Palette is reasonably pigmented which gives of amazing colour to the eyes. As for their Mascara, it looks to lengthen the lashes giving them a voluminous natural look. And last but not least, their Brow Definer helps to shape your brows really well thanks to its cream to powder formula.

Check out the latest from the NEW Total Temptation Collection below:

Total Temptation Brow Definer, RRP $17.95

We all know that some girls just can't leave the house without doing their brows. Thankfully, there's the new Total Temptation Brow Definer which uses a rich pigmented cream to powder formula to help you to create natural and defined looking brows. The Brow Definer comes with a retractable angled tip applicator which allows for a firm and precise stroke (mimicking natural fine brow hairs). It also comes with a fluffy spoolie brush which helps to shape and fluff out your brows.

Overall I've been loving this product as it's so easy to use in the morning and most importantly it allows me to create and define natural looking brows. The application is super easy and the fact that it comes with an angled tip - actually allows me to easily fill in the brows with ease.

Total Temptation Mascara, RRP $21.95

Here's a mascara that won't leave your lashes clump or flaky. It's actually enriched with coconut nectar which easily glides through your lashes and builds up volume within every stroke. I actually quite enjoyed using this mascara as it looked to amplify my lashes with more volume which looked very natural.

As for its bristle brush, it combs through the lashes easily and doesn't leave you with that clogged look - essential for when you're looking to create voluminous and natural lashes.

Total Temptation Shadow + Highlight palette, RRP $29.95

I had to save the best for the last...say hello to the Shadow and Highlight Palette from the Total Temptation Collection by Maybelline.

The aesthetics of the shadow and highlight look so amazing especially with its wavy embossed ridges - which makes the palette seem more enticing and interesting to play with. This palette contains eight stunning eyeshadows (ranging from the indulgent peaches and muted mauves shades) as well as two highlight colours. This is their creamiest shadows I've seen to date and as for pigmentation, they are quite reasonable. There's a mix of matte and shimmer shades which is perfect for creating both day and night looks from this palette which is wonderful.

Overall, I've been reaching out for this palette quite often as the shades are not too overly dramatic looking and are perfect for an all day wear.

Get excited for Biore's latest range of Cleansing Micellar Waters....

If you're familiar with using micellar waters, then you may be excited to learn that Biore have launched their brand new range of Cleansing Micellar Waters (which are now available). Micellar waters are designed with a no-rinse method which means that it helps to cleanse and purify the pores (without having the need to use water). I've been using micellar water to remove my makeup including waterproof mascara.

What makes the Biore range so unique is that they contain a higher concentration of micellar cleansing agents so that you get the maximum results of cleansing. The formula works gently on the skin and removes make-up with such ease. There's no need to tug on your skin!

Biore's Cleansing Micellar Waters comes in either Baking Soda or Charcoal and have been developed to be pH balanced, oil-free and comedogenic. They are so perfect for taking off your make-up and making sure that your skin feels refreshed, cleansed and balanced. If you feel that you need to rinse your skin right after removing makeup with the micellar water, then you can by all means do so. The cool concept of having the no-rinse formula is that it's great for when you're travelling. (Biore's Cleansing Micellar Waters also come in a handy travel size)

For example, Biore's Charcoal Cleansing Micellar Water is actually developed for those with oily skin. It works to remove dirt and oil whilst absorbing oil and reducing shine from your skin.

As for their Baking Soda Cleansing Micellar Water, it has been formulated for those with combination skin which again works to remove dirt and oil. I felt that this micellar water didn't strip the skin's natural oils which is essential.

Biore's Charcoal and Baking Soda Micellar Waters RRP $10.99 (300ml) or $4.99 (75ml), and is available at Coles, Woolworths, Priceline Pharmacy, Chemist Warehouse and independent pharmacies.
