Marble and metallic sunset vibes, that's my sort of palette...

That pretty much sums up everything about the Desert Queen, Eye and Face palette (RRP $38) for a limited only by Mecca Max. Are you guys digging this new beautiful palette?

The palette consists of 15 incredible matte and shimmery shades which are incredibly pigmented. I was surprised by how blendable and pigmented the shades are and for the price point, it really is a palette worth picking up. The shimmery shades are very buildable where you can look to mix and match onto your cheeks, eyes and face. (It's so versatile and perfect for a multipurpose palette).

Also, it's easy to complement the shades in this palette because no matter which shade you pick they will blend easily. I use my fingers to apply on the eyeshadows as I feel that it packs on more colour onto the eyelids better and then just buffed it out by using a blending eyeshadow brush.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how aesthetically pleasing this palette looks? I'm fully drawn to the copper, red and marble inspired shades which are so fun to play with especially with Autumn coming. And....let's talk about the full size mirror that comes with this palette, it makes it so convenient for me especially when I need to do my makeup on the go. It's perfect for taking with you whenever you're travelling. Just be sure to remember to pack your brushes with you too!

"My best beauty tip in looking to apply on these stunning shades, is to spray your application brush or beauty sponge with a makeup setting spray. This will bring out the vibrant and stunning shades more on your eyes & face."

For a subtle glow on the cheeks - Simply opt for the peachy/coral shimmery tones

For a contoured and bronzed glow - Use the warmer brown tones

Overall, the multi-purpose face and eyeshadow palette is absolutely a THUMBS UP for me. Knowing that it's a limited edition product, it's definitely a useful versatile palette to pick up. The shades aren't too dramatic looking which is perfect for creating subtle day and natural looks for all season round.

The finished look

To create this eye look, I used the Desert Queen Eye and Face Palette by MECCA MAX by focusing on the warm tones - red, nude and sand.
