KEEPING IT BASIC - THE PERFECT ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR WARDROBE - OOTD

These are some of my basic wardrobe essentials that are good to have...whether you're off doing yoga (at home with what's currently happening worldwide)...to dressing it up on date night (if you're feeling fancy)... I've collated a bunch of outfit items that are my must-haves for your wardrobe. I picked up these outfit essentials through my favourite online boutique, Femme Luxe.

Here are my must-have basics:

Layer on with Shapewear Essentials

I picked up these basic shapewear from Femme Luxe such as their Nude Seamless Padded Bandeau and the White Seamless Firm Control Briefs. They're good for tight-fitting dresses, tights, activewear or in cases where you don't want your panty lines to show through outfits. Look freshly toned in these easy-to-wear Firm Control Briefs which is designed to slim the waist and firm that tummy. As for the Seamless Padded Bandeau, these are handy for dresses that have spaghetti-straps, crop-tops, etc.

Slip Into This Sexy, Romantic Dress

For a quick date night you'll love the Red Satin Ruched Slip Mini Dress. It's easy-to-wear and you can easily accessorise with your favourite handbag, heels & jewellery - to finalise the perfect look. I don't usually rock short/slip dresses but on this occasion, this was the perfect excuse!

The Red Satin Ruched Slip Mini Dress is available via Femme Luxe.

Up Your Basics With This Cute, Neutral Coloured Co-Od

How cute is the Nude Cropped Cycling Shorts and Strappy Top Co-Od? Amp up your gym-sesh with this adorable co-od set which is so perfect for working out at home...or at the gym in the future.

MIXING IT UP WITH DRESSY & CASUAL LOOKS FOR THE WEEKENDS - MY OOTD INSPO LOOK

Mix it up with either a dressy or casual look.

For those who have two occasions in the one day, it's all about picking the right outfits. I've sorted my wardrobe from my go-to store, Femme Luxe, where they stock the trendiest pieces for affordable prices.

So in the morning I'd be running errands and doing my weekly grocery shopping and then when afternoon approaches, I'll quickly change into a dress for a wedding reception.

Here are my outfit inspo ideas:

Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Dazzle yourself in the Black Glitter One Shoulder Midi Dress in Mabel. This dress is suitable for a party occasion or formal event such as a wedding. I love how this dress comes with a material waist belt so you can simply cinch it up near the tummy and waistline, as well as a ruched side. Super comfortable to wear all night long, I'd highly recommend if you're after a dress that wraps around the body well. I have sized down on this occasion as I wanted the dress to really cinch in.

Amp It Up With A Bit of Puff

Featuring a one shoulder design dress with a puff sleeve design on one end, this glamourous and sophisticated is so adorable for any social occasion. I'd definitely wear this out to a dinner function, date night or even during high tea. Finish off the look with a nude pair of heels or with your favourite clutch/bag and you're all ready to hit the road.

Keeping It Basic, Baby!

So if you still want to dress on-trend with a little bit of casual, then I've paired my checkered pants with a Black Basic Oversized Rolled Top Sleeve. The top is made with the softest cotton material and it comes with rolled sleeves to give you that badgirl/rock-chick vibes look. And to even make you feel more comfortable, pair the rest of your outfit with sneakers that match. I've gone with my go-to Adidas sneakers which are literally easy to wear for everyday.

Style It With Love

Once again I've gone with the same rolled Basic Oversized Rolled Sleeve Top but in White, to contrast it with my military style pants, also from Femme Luxe. I felt so comfortable rocking this outfit during my weekend grocery errands and what better way to do it in style.

Having basic wear in your wardrobe are the easiest way to style your outfits because you can easily layer or contrast it with your overall outfits.
